Great looking Microwave
The SHARP SMC0761KS Countertop Microwave has a sleek design and compact size, making it a great fit for apartment kitchens. It heats food evenly and looks modern on the counter without taking up too much space. However, the child lock feature can be frustrating—it’s too easy to activate accidentally, and turning it off requires a specific combination of buttons. This adds an unnecessary step every time I want to use it, and there’s no way to disable the lock permanently. If not for the child lock annoyance, this would be an ideal microwave for small spaces.

good microwave, works well
I had a 1995 model of this same oven, 700 wt, 0.7cu ft. Thus one us the same wt & cu. ft.. But.. this one is smaller, carousel(sp) difficult to keep in place with extra ring under plate; operation seems complicated in manual, but easier when I did myself; oven quite light & easily tips forward; inside has only enough room for carousel plate, some dishes & frozen food containers are too wide & can rub inner walls. .It does work well, have cooked frozen dinners, potatoes etc, same as old oven. But have to be careful when handling, opening door because it may tip forward, making a safety problem.
