These scroll saw holders stripped almost instantly, after tightening them 4 times to replace or fix the blade position. They're made of soft metal that shears away too easily. The blade it came with was cool, I never seen one like it, it didn't work as well as I expected.

If you have a scroll saw, blades without pins are much cheaper, and available in vastly greater variety, than those with pins. Many saws (check your owners manual) need these adapters to hold them. This version is better than the set that came with my saw - the grub screws can be used in two directions, allowing you to mount the blade perpendicular, if you need to. The included blade is a nice spiral cut blade, which allows you to cut curves without pivoting your wood. An hex wrench was also included, and everything came in a plastic case that could also store extra blades. Having extra blade holders makes it easy to have different blades ready to use without fiddling with clamping in new blades. Look at your grub screws before use - one of the four on mine was installed backwards (or more likely screwed all the way through to the opposite side, so I had to flip it around before I could use it.
