Darco Ortho Wedge Healing Shoe, X-Large

My husband has been a type 1 diabetic for over 40 years. Every now and then he gets an ulcer on his toe which can be dangerous if not properly cared for.The first time he got an ulcer the doctor informed us that he should never put full pressure on the toe that has an ulcer on it, until it is healed. However, my husband works on his feet all day. So that seemed like an almost impossible situation.This wedge was a true blessing! It allowed him to walk, but kept the pressure on his heel not on his toe, which helped the healing process.It's not the most comfortable thing to wear, and it did through off his gait while he was wearing it, but he said it was worth the discomfort, because he knew it would help his toe heal faster.

Thank you it is great comfort wish it would’ve break down but the quality and the comfort and the price out of this world

I've been wearing this boot since my surgery and it does what it's supposed to, but the strap along the front of the foot is already ripping.

When you need to ofload pressure wound this is all you need. This is 3rd pair and super happy with product.

I had this boot for 6 days and a crack started to show on the 12th three days from started wearing them. The next boot different company. The crack started forming about s month in. The boot itself coming apart at the heal. Separating off the sole glued in cheap boots for a cheap price

Shoe was dirty. Had been used. Velcro doesn’t stick. Inner package had been opened.Difficult to walk around in this shoe—too tall.
