🔥As a cigar enthusiast, I’ve had my fair share of lighters, but the Samniu Lighter stands out like a beacon in the night. When it comes to lighting cigars, consistency matters. It is my belief that one can never have too many lighters (or guns, or knives, or flashlights, but I digress..) I'm presently out of butane until I get to the store this week, but I'm sure all will be fine (if not, I'll update this review) - the ARC lighter took a short charge to full, and works great. Both have rubber-ish outer cases that purport to be water proof - haven't tested that. I'm sure they'd be fine if you got caught in the rain, but not sure I would throw them in a lake or anything. For the record, the orange one is the butane lighter, and the black one is the arc lighter. Both have their own lanyard/carry strap, which is optional if you just want to carry it in your pocket. Not sure about durability yet, but as with most other preps, these will just sit in a bag or on a shelf until needed, thus they should last indefinitely. If the butane lighter lights when filled, I'm a happy camper.

I was interested in these lighters because I have an arc candle lighter that does not work on hand dipped incense. I wanted a lighter that would work with my incense so I needed something with an X arc. The electric lighter in this pack is the right type and the lid opens very wide. If I did need to use this for candles, it would be easier to reach a low wick than with some of the other electric lighters that don't open wide. I also can be quite forgetful when it comes to recharging my devices so having a butane torch lighter as a backup is helpful.The electric lighter was easy to charge, though the charging cable it comes with is pretty short. The butane lighter was easy to fill and didn't break. I've run into so many butane lighters with faulty injection hole mechanisms that I'd given up on them for years. This one works perfectly. I like the locking mechanisms on the outer waterproof cases. It is easy to lock and unlock and it holds very securely.
