Stainless Steel Stove top Teakettle Whistling Teapot (4 Liter)

Very nicely and sturdily made of seemingly good materials, following a traditional tea kettle shape. I wanted this for use with an induction plate, and it works perfectly. The "whistle" is distinctive, more like a diesel locomotive horn than a toy steam engine (a relief in a kitchen filled with things that beep). It seems to be built into the lid, not hinged to the spout. I expect that setup to be reliable.The kettle's tank has a brand label glued to one side, written mainly in Chinese characters. This diffracts color changes in varying light and is apparently not intended to be peeled off. It doesn't bother me at all - every other appliance on my counter has a fixed brand label too - Duxtop, Instant Pot, Oxo, Ninja, etc.Overall I think this is a fine product at a very good price.

I will return this item. First time out of the box, started boiling water. I guess while I was working on other tasks (not actually watching the boiling process), the handle fell onto the metal part of the container and the handle burned (first use)...UHG! Quality is TERRRIBLE. It looks great and heats the water well but the light weight and dropping handle leave something to be desired.

Best thing about it is the "whistle". (It's billed as a "whistling" tea kettle, but sounds more like a fog horn.) Makes me think I'm back in San Francisco. Kind of fun!

The whistle is very pleasant and it heats up faster then any kettle I’ve had in the past.

First of all, it is not 4L. Quality is bad. I used it less than 2 weeks, it has rust inside the pot. Don't buy it. I want to return it :(
