Often, notable public figures don't cut it in book form, but this is different. The tale is exciting... and true nonetheless.

Anthony Shaffer told a commpelling story of the Afghan War. It was hard to put down until another time. I admire his greatly for giving us the way of life in that war torn country and how the government used and misused him. I should pass it on but can't part with it yet.Earlene

I've only read a chapter or two, then stopped so I cam finish "No Room for Error". So far it is really interesting. The main issue, like everyone else is the redaction. Sometimes a whole paragraph is gone. A lot of times it takes out a big piece of the story. There are websites that you can retrieve parts of the redacted text. The original book is sold on EBAY for hundreds of dollars, that would be a waste since you can google it.If you like this genre, its worth reading. Just stop every chapter and google what you can.

The author assumed the (top levels of the US govt. really wanted to catch Osama and really wanted to stop (by winning) the Afghan war: interesting. Be that as it may, the book gave great insight into being in the thick of today's battles.

I was very disappointed when the book arrived and I saw that it was a redacted copy. The bookseller should have noted that in the description.

Olivet Tree Books' description of this book fails to mention that is a heavily censored ("redacted") version of the book. Lots of parts of the book have been literally blacked out by the government. Olivet Tree Books didn't respond to my request to return the book for a refund. Pretty bad.

I thought this would be a game changer, but it read like a yawn-maker. To be fair, I didn't get that far into it before it felt like a job.
