Functionally identical to other tweezer tongs in that they grab stuff, but these genuinely do it better. The steel is thick and rigid so you don't have flexing in the middle which can limit your grabbing pressure. I'm a bartender, i got one of these for garnishing cocktails, and love them! not only look good but they are very good quality as well, strongly recommended. I wish they make them in black as well.

Sturdy, excellent grip, not afraid of fire. All around great tool.

I really like the quality, and they do a good job of plating pasta. However, I think they are heavier than they need to be. The opening is not extra wide. They're so stiff that if you try to close them while gripping towards the back end it's more trouble than it's worth. They also retain heat real quick. So if I try to pull a noodle from the pasta cooker without lifting the basket, not only can I not close them effectively to grip the noodle, they become too hot to handle. Also the titanium coating is wearing off the tips after just one day of use. Leaving 4 stars because I love dalstrong and am hoping the tweezers will loosen up with more use.

Whoever designed these seem to have taken smaller tweezers and decided to scale them up. Not just the length but also the amount of material used in each arm. These are very heavy and thick. the amount of strength needed to use these become very uncomfortable after a few minutes. The tweezers do not open very wide, limiting the size of items these could be used for.The coating is nice and well applied and durability seems to be excellent. These should work well for stirring and placing coals in a hibachi.I recommend purchasing the Rösle kitchen tweezers instead. They are the same price but have far superior ergonomics.
