Cheap and worked fine so far
My Mercedes fuel cap tether broke a year ago and when I recently refilled, I forgot to put the fuel cap on; and it dropped off somewhere. I was concerned about ordering a non-OEM item on my Mercedes, but there was a $32 difference. I thought I would try it. It fit perfectly. I haven't seen a yellow CEL so far. The tether is plastic and not rubber, but rotten rubber was the cause of the original break. I also was getting a code P0455 and, so far, that has not returned.

DEFINITELY A DO NOT BUY ITEM- DANGEROUS- READ BEFORE EVEN THINKING OF BUYING
Awful product. Bought as spare while replacing radiator. Broke AND STUCK BODY in reservoir top! IT’S STILL THERE. I WILL LIKELY HAVE TO REPLACE THE ENTIRE RESERVOIR, COSTING ME AT LEAST 5X THE COST OF THIS CAP. VERY, VERY, VERY UPSET.PRODUCT SHOULD BE RECALLED AND REMOVED FROM MARKET REPLACE. I CANNOT USE THE ORIGINAL OR ANY OTHER CAP UNTIL I CAN CUT THIS OUT MY TANK! ON A HIGHLY PRESSURIZED SYSTEM THIS IS DANGEROUS. I SHOULD ALSO BE COMPENSATED FOR DAMAGE DONE TO MY VEHICLE. IT DEFINITELY DOES NOT MEET OEM STANDARDS.
