Ford GT40 Manual: An Insight into Owning, Racing and Maintaining Ford's Legendary Sports Racing Car Hardcover – September 1, 2014

Like the Porsche 917, it is hard to find a book on the Ford GT40 that doesn't repeat itself. This format of how to assemble and repair a Ford GT40 is a novel way of presenting information that is interesting and new. Don't expect any racing history, but if you want to know how the car was built, this book explains most of it.

I bought this book to provide a photo reference for a model of the Ford GT40 that I will build. It is adequate for that purpose. Overall, this is an excellent, balanced book on the GT40. Highly recommended for fans of the car.

Another good Haynes "manual," which is to say, a thorough insightful look at The GT-40 accomplish with the normal depthof all the Haynes books.

Great gift for a Ford guy!

At the time I'm building two LOLA Mk6 GT's for a friend that were the reason Ford Advanced Vehicles built the winning GT40 series that were International Racing Greats, added for support to the builds. CB

Great insight into the guts of this exotic machine. Helpful in assembly of my two GT40 Ford kits. I just want one of full size.

The cover is certainly misleading. "Workshop Manual" Really ? Not likely. What it really is is just another book on the GT40 racing history, the players, and a paper thin section on how the car is constructed. Even less on how to repair it. I SERIOUSLY doubt anybody could work on one from what's presented inside the covers. But, hey, good luck.

Uma pena. O livro é ótimo, mas foi enviado não lacrado (plástico externo), e com quatro páginas rasgadas. Foi devolvido. Espero mais cuidado no envio, já que o erro foi da Amazon, não dos correios. Tanto assim que os demais livros na mesma caixa estavam lacrados e corretos.

GT40は好きなルマンカーです。開発にいろいろあった車。内容は英語だからわからないが写真　イラストは満足です

If your in to the GT 40, this book full of info on the story on how, why and who built and raced these cars. Although it does repeat it self a few times, still an interesting read.
