PyroFarmsLED Light Base UVA 395nm Purple Light

Needed a light to display uranium glass items. This is what I was looking for.

If this was in a higher wavelength it would be absolutely perfect for my uranium glass. Since this is one of the only products I found on the internet that is clear and upfront about what it DOES do though, that is not at all a detractor, but rather an endorsement! I wish all items were this clearly described. And as you can see in my pictures, it all depends on what you are lighting.Regardless, the wood base itself is quite attractive, yet understated enough to show off the peice rather than the light.I love it.

This is just right. Some base lights are really bright and blind you as soon as you remove the thing on top of it. This one is bright enough to project the light through your display, but not so bright that it blinds you instantly.

I use this as a lighted base for some uranium glass that glows specifically under 395nm wavelength light. Plugs into a USB power source and has a small switch inline on the cord to turn it on and off. Simple but effective.

A good base, active in UVA range as described. Should hold up to splashes and such just fine. I'm not sure why LED bases with UV emitters are so tough to find but this one will get the job done. Just make sure the thing you want to glow is actually reactive to 395nm.
