Kodak Premium Cork Jigsaw Puzzle 1000pc Manhattan Balcony Sunset

This is a fun puzzle with enough color differences and shapes to make it fun but not too easy. The cork pieces are nice - though the first time you use it they do require a bit of extra pressure to fit in. Not really a problem and I like the solid feel of them but different than other puzzles. The picture is nice to spend time with.

This is a fun, very fast puzzle. There are 25 individual vignettes of different images so it is the equivalent of 25, 40 piece puzzles. The cork back makes it very sturdy and it almost feels like all the pieces have to be pushed into place. No satisfaction of hearing the pieces click into place. I put parts in the wrong place more times in this puzzle than any other puzzle I have done. That said with only 40 pieces per image it was easy to find and correct. The tightness of the cork allowed us to break this puzzle down after finishing to keep each vignette in place to take apart later and keep separate. We are going to invite our family over for a puzzle night and let each of the eight people ( ages 11- 67) pick 4 vignette's and it should be very easy and fun to work on it as a group.

This was aesthetically pleasing, easy to work on and walk away as in squares, and high quality. Favorite jigsaw of 2023 for sure.

We really enjoyed putting this puzzle together, although the fall foliage in the background was fairly difficult. Our only issue with it was the cork backing material was kind of strange - spongy in a way - where you had to almost squeeze the pieces together. There were a few instances where the piece would fit with a little pressure, but was not in the correct location. I think we prefer the more rigid head cardboard type of backing.

Unlike other reviewers, we did not have an issue with the cork pieces. We were missing a couple pieces, however. I think we got a puzzle that had been returned. It was not cello wrapped like all of our other puzzle purchases, and the pieces were in a brown bag that wad not fully sealed instead of a clear plastic bag. It would have been a 5 star puzzle if it was complete.
