They come with six of them for literally I think a dollar apiece may be a little over a dollar.It is so easy to use and my issue with whiteout is I would always mess up the tape somehow! I could never fix it and I would never be able to use the rest of it. These fix themselves like I screwed up and I was like oh no, what do I do and I just kept going at it and it self corrected. These work just as well as the name brand white tape.

I had to throw away a couple of the standard style of whiteout tape applicators, because the tape got caught on something in the drawer and pulled out, misaligning and no longer working. These work just as well as the others, but the covers protect the applicator ends to avoid such problems in the future.
