I purchased this to use with iDVD on my Mac and it works great. I plugged it in and it was immediately recognized by my Mac without having to install anything or change any settings. It literally took ten seconds to set up. The color is attractive and looks great with the silver of my Mac. Burning DVDs was a breeze and everything so far has come out with absolutely no errors (I use Memorex brand discs).The only issue I have is that I cannot get it to actually read discs. I tried to use it to view a DVD and it would not read. This is not a huge deal since my main focus is on burning, but it's strange and something I will need to discuss with Apple's Genius Bar.Overall, this burns discs quickly and accurately and I certainly recommend it.

I got this cause my daughter got me a new lap top and it didn't come with a CD-Rom i was so upset. this just plugged right in the side of the lap-top and away it went. i didn't have to down load anything it just did it it's self, i was very happy with this. now i don't gotta go get another lap-top for this reason. now i burned a couple music cd's for my car using this and again i had no problems with it what so ever. i also bought the extra insurance on it in case something happens to it, but so far so good. i had no problems from the seller i would buy from them again, and very fast on the shipping.

Works as it should my only complaint is that the cord is extremely short

This is a thin and easy to use device it's plug and play and requires no technical support. The device is encased in plastic and seems a little flimsy and is untouchable when the disc is spinning.

I cannot tell you how nice it is to only have one wire, and even that one is directly connected to the drive. I have purchased way too many drives. You know that when you do that, the ones before were all crappy. I'm seriously really happy about this one right now. I have a Mac and there are a lot of issues surrounding USB connectivity. I have had absolutely no issues where my DVD didn't play. It's worth the extra $$ to get a good device that works.

This works 90% of the time. Sometimes, when I put a CD in, it won't read it, but you just have to take it out and try again. Plays videos just fine, but sometimes, the machine gets a little loud. Otherwise, I do recommend this.

I absolutely LOVE this. It helps these poor old eyes to see what I'm working on. Even the darker colored squares of the diamond paintings can be seen far better. A good light for this task and I'm thinking there could be a whole host of things that it could be used for. If I had any complaint, it might be that it could be a bit larger. In two words? BUY IT!!

Revised: Does not work with windows 10, also no support as developer is shut down.I bought a new laptop. Most of the new slim line laptops no longer have a drive. Normally this would not have been an issue but I found myself needing one so got this one. I am pleased with my purchase and this one fits nicely in my laptop bag.
