I'm very pleased with the performance of these struts. The lift gate on my 2004 Acura MDX is heavy and because of my work, I'm opening and closing it nearly every day of the week. The original struts finally wore out to the point that the gate wouldn't stay up on its own. I installed the QiMox replacement struts two and a half years ago and they still work perfectly!I was initially nervous because some reviewers complained that the struts did not perform well in cold weather. I live in Connecticut and have not had this experience during the winter months. If you live in Newfoundland it might be a different story, but I suspect they'll still work fine.

Very easy to install. Be aware that these struts have higher pressure than OEM products, a bit harder to close. Other than this is perfect.

Excellent for the price. Ordered and installed for free, the dealer mentioned these are as good as the original, shockingly surprised in a pleasant way! Been using these for a few months, not disappointed at all.

I bought these after the struts on my vehicle went out. These are very easy to install but are so so stiff!!! Wow. I have to use all of my body weight to get the trunk shut. So I guess they do the job but will make it hard to close the trunk
