Yes unless it's a sugar free version.

I don't know what type of grind is best for a French press. This coffee's grind is more coarse than for a drip.

Q: This coffee tastes like cardboard. Is there anything I can do to enhance the flavor?

Not really- it's really not that good of coffee. I had better luck with Stone Street's various flavors. This brand was subpar at best.

Q: I'd like to buy this product but scared off by the reviews that talk about open/broken bags. Has this been fixed?

My bag was hermetically sealed. I don't know where you heard that they were open. Amazon carefully packs every shipment I recieve.
