Nite Ize Radiant Microlight - Black/Red LED - 2 Count (2 Pack)

This light is great to attach to a set of keys and to have on you. You’d be surprised how much you use a light when you have one available. I actually got this for my wife. When we come home after dark we have to come in by the sun porch next to the garage and it’s always pitch black and she always fumbles with the keys for what seems an eternity. I gave her this and she’s already used it enough that it’s paid for itself in time savings and less headaches. Out of the package it’s in a demo mode which is squeeze and hold to have light but only on the higher brightness. Once you take it off demo mode it’s a squeeze press to cycle through each option. Low. High. Strobe. The light itself is a red LED and you may ask why would you want that. In case you are wondering red light doesn’t affect your night vision. After using the light your eyes should still be adjusted to the dark. That’s a plus for me if you are just using it to open a locked door. Heck your path in front of you when walking in the dark. It’s a great little light and it’s well made and the clip is solid. My wife is glad I put this on her keys she has said it has been great helping get her in the house or finding an item the kids dropped in the car at night. I like these little red "microlights". Description says for the keychain, and if you like a lot of things on your keychain, this won't take up that much room. I found that this works well for me when I put it on the key lanyard in my bag. The red light is bright enough to find things in close quarters like a bag, glove box, tent pocket. I am not a fan of the keychain clip that comes with the light though. I would have like to just had a regular key ring. FYI, when the lights ship they are in "Demo Mode (light only on when you press it)". You need to press and hold the light on for 20 seconds (or so) and the light will enter regular mode (steady light, don't have to hold down button for light to stay on) - press once for bright, press again for not as bright and a third time for flashing/strobe, press/hold for off. If you have or had other Nite Ize lights these will be very similar.
