Neo Forza NFS02 256GB 2.5 Inch SATA III High Speed up to 550MB/s Read, 480MB/s Write Solid State Drive (NFS021SA356-6007200)

So far so good. I replaced the hard drive in an HP laptop with this drive. The laptop has a sata II motherboard so it doesn't take full advantage of this drive but boot and r/w times are 3 times faster. I bumped the ram from 4gb to 8gb and this laptop is feeling it's oats. Don't know about long term reliability but if the drive craps out in the near future I'll revisit this review. For now I'm a happy camper!

UPDATE AS OF 11/25/2018SSD Started to fail, now it can't even be used.First the thermal temps read around 90C (thought it was a bug) then it stopped functioning.Would not recommend due to the short life==================================================================================its not at all 256GB its a 240GB SSD with 238GB useable, however for the value and price of other 240GB SSD's this one is A grade, its read and write speeds are not consistent but it does manage to reach the advertised speed, which is great. I personally haven't had a problem with my drive, I did order another.As of 4/10/2018 m/d/yThe SSD's are no longer avalible :(

Sorry to do this but... I had this SSD for a little over a month so far(Just outside the return availability) and it has died completely. No longer showing up in my Bios on my z370 MSI-a pro I've tried at least 3 different SATA connectors even the one working on my 3tb WD HDD and also swapped the power connectors still no response.. so I cannot say I recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a cheap SSD just save up a little more evo970's are cheap as it is already.

Bought this on a budget to replace a spinning drive worked ok.

I bought two of these drives in April 2018, one for myself and one for my wife. My drive failed within two months of purchase, and my wife's drive just suddenly up and died in the middle of a Fortnite match. Her computer rebooted by itself and "no hard drive" error came up instead of the normal Windows logo.Will never buy these drives again.

Great...about to buy a second one. My old Lenovo is very fast now.

So far, it's working just as specified. It's an amazing difference in speed to a standard hard disk drive.
