Highly recommend this product to any plant lover! It’s cheap, and it’s actually works very well, already have seeds (some herbs like basil, cilantro, ect.) germinating within 3 days!!! I have some dwarf fruit trees planted as well but those take a bit longer. I also am using the heat pad to grow larger seeds such as a mango in a planter pot and it’s growing great as well! The grow lights also work great for my other more established plants.

The trays themselves are awesome. What's not awesome is there's no instructions and my heating mat does not work. Left it plugged in over night cause we got a bit cold and this morning it wasn't even close to being warm. I need to know how to contact seller before I pack them up and send in for a refund cause other then that I'm pretty happy with them.

Works great, make sure you get the updated version that has usb c plug ins for the led lights and the heating mat, there’s other items that look just like this that don’t have the heat mat or the updates plug ins, with heat, moisture, and humidity the little seedling thinks it’s summer and will sprout in just a few days, no matter the seed, it makes them sprout way faster, good buy, works perfect.. still trying to figure out the timer, it does go off when you set it to but wondering if it comes back on by itself

This was prefect! You get so much for your money. You get 5 of everything, except for the heat mat.You only get one heat mat. It also comes with little hand planting tools.

While the product works, it is so small in size that I feel like I am working with a child's toy. It is about one third of the size that it looks like online. I planted the seeds and put the containers on a tray to "cook" like an Easy Bake Oven, so we shall see how the results turn out. Of course it is better to have a larger plant to transplant but the small size will work in a pinch. It is really nice to have the heating pad, although there are no controls on it. The lights for the planter boxes have different colors to choose from. Not sure why they need that. The switch on the lights seems to be defective as the timer portion of it doesn't work. It just goes to "on". The lids would be better if they snapped on securely. I would not recommend this product unless you are buying it for your child.

I wanted to try this out for a few weeks before writing a review. I got it on sale which is a plus. I dont remember exactly how much I paid, but I think it was around $25. So the price was lower for a seed starter kit and contained a heating matt AND lights. Ordinarily it is one or the other. I didn't have great expectations because the price was so low. However I am more than happy. Both the matt and lights work.Some things you'll need to know. The lights need a power brick to hook it up via the USB cable attached to the lights. You also need to listen for a small click when you plug the light connection in. I did not at first and thought it was defective. I even started the return process, but thought maybe I needed to plug in all 5 sets as some kind of safety thing. When I plugged in the next set of lights I heard the click and they lit up. Problem solved.Next, all five containers will not fit squarely on the heating pad. You can get 3 on it easily. I used a 2x1x2 configuration to get all of 1 container and most of 4 containers on it. I just rotate the 4 that are partially on the matt every day. Again, problem solved.James Prigioni from New Jersey will be proud of me!! Good luck gardening!

Works wonders for all my plant projects including the better greens. I was down a light for one cord but I only need three at the moment anyway.
