I purchased the large clear in hopes of finding a new vase for double boquetes. It is perfect. Also looks lovely!

The simplicity of these vases really caught my attention. They have no character to speak of, just basic glass. But, for whatever reason, the style is fabulous. The ribbed design gives the vases a heartiness, they are substantial. Both are heavy and the glass has a nice thickness. What I love about them is the height & width. I wanted a vase with a low profile yet wide enough to accommodate a number of flowers and/or foliage. This type of vase allows for full bouquets that sit low on a table’s surface. It creates a beautiful spread. I like that the vase is somewhat hidden by the bouquet when completely full, you actually notice the flowers instead of the vase. There is one weird aspect which is noticeable and that’s the bottom of the vase. If you take a look at the images you will see that there is an undulation in the base of the vase. It looks like a wave. I rubbed my fingers across the bottom inside and there is an unevenness with the glass. It doesn’t hinder performance, just looks odd. I do like both, they really do dress up a table and the cost is fair given there are 2 in this set.
