This is the best hammock we've ever had! I purchase through Amazon back in April and I spent more time in the hammock that I did any outdoor seating last summer. We are fortunate to have many trees in our yard so I could easily move it to where I want to position myself.This hammock is a breeze to set up even my 10 year old was capable of setting it up on his own.We do quite a bit of camping in the summer and we took this hammock with us on every trip. We were the hit of our "loops" with this hammock. Neighbors came from all around to try it out and several added it to their Amazon carts right from the camp grounds. This hammock provided hours of enjoyment for everyone. Two to three children were able to sit and use it as a swing, all at one time. This hammock is large enough to accommodate two full grown adults, COMFORTABLY!!!Not only did we use it at our camp site but we took it to the lake and used it there. Any place we found two trees that would accommodate (it's fully adjustable, trees don't have to be a certain distance apart) we hung our hamock.We really enjoy using it as a swing too. To use as a swing (for an adult or adult and child together) it is most comfortable to sit with your legs crossed. It can swing really high and the kids all enjoy it very much. Our family dog enjoyed being right next to us on the hammock. We would bring a footstool and set it next to the hammock for our dog to sit on while we were in the hammock. I and my husband took many afternoon naps in the hammock with our dog sleeping next to us.We love this hammock so much we are considering purchasing a second and possibly a third one to bring camping next year. 2 for our family, one for the families we meet. The kids loved a place to "chill" with the friends they met camping. This truly is the best hammock we have purchased and we've purchased many. AND the price, it is excellent!! This is well worth the money. We would be willing to pay twice as much for the quality, size and comfort of this hammock. The ease of setting up and taking down saves time and trees. I could literally have this hammock setup in under 2 minutes. A ten-year-old could do it in under 5. The construction of this hammock is most impressive. The high quality material and stitching will make It last for years and years.I only decided to buy after I saw a review on Amazon for this hammock. My husband is a United States Marine. I read a review about several Marines who slept in this hammock for two weeks and they all raved about it. Honestly if you put a bug tent over does it make you could sleep very comfortably. We haven't tried it yet but we plan to!This would make for a great gift to yourself your family or friends. Everyone could use a hammock like this. We miss being able to use it as often but we will not let the winter stop us from enjoying the hammock outside.I wanted to make mention of the side pocket. The pocket is the perfect size to accommodate any size flip flop. There's nothing more relaxing than swinging in a hammock barefoot. Cleaning the hammock is simple. If and when it got dirty, I just took the hose to it and it would be dry within a couple hours.

UPDATE:It's been over 2 years now since we bought these 2 hammocks. Still holding up great. One of them did have the seam come out on the attached pouch. No big deal, I just sewed it back up. These hammocks go with us everywhere. Seriously, daytrip to the park...with the hammocks. Camping , yep. They come with us. Festivals? You bet. Lunch break, sure, a few times now. Nothing like a power nap in a hammock. When we travel by air, we slip the hammock into our carry on. It really doesn't take up that much room. About the size of one pair of jeans rolled up. Leave the jeans, take the hammock, you never know. I encourage you to get a hammock. Easy to set up, easy to take down. About the straps, yeah, I still think they could have been a bit longer but we have managed fine for two years and they have held up very well.Original review:I bought 2 of these. We have always used cotton hammocks, honestly I cant remember why we just always have. This year, I decided to try something a little more portable. We picked out our colors and waited patiently (sort of) for our package. Meanwhile, I received an email from Tyler with the company. Great customer service there! Shipping was fast and both hammocks were well packed. We went straight to the park to try them out.They are very easy to set up. Our ropes came pre-knotted and threaded through the tree protectors. Carbiners are hefty, not heavy for our uses and at no time did we feel like we were going to fall down on our rearends. The colors are vibrant. I got the seagreen/graphite, my son the lime green/graphite. Lots of room to stretch out or sit and swing. We had a nice breeze and could feel it through the hammock. If it's chilly outside, you may want a blanket. The attached bag was a very convenient pocket for my cell. Rolling it up and getting it back into the bag wasn't difficult and took us no time at all to take down, repack and be ready to leave. Very convenient.There was only one con to these and that was the length of the rope. It took us a bit to find trees small enough to get the rope around them. I noticed another reviewer mentioned the same thing. I used to live in the pacific northwest myself and was imagining trying to get the hammocks hung around a couple of redwoods. Having moved to Texas where the trees don't get anywhere that size, I felt safe. The ropes really need to either be longer or get some kind of extender. I don't know what kind of trees they are using where these hammocks were tested, but most of them around here that are strong enough to support the weight of the hammock are on the larger side for the hanging straps. I do understand that weight and packing into the bag may have entered into the equation.Final thought? Just order it. They are sturdy, comfortable, easy to set up and look great! Now if I could just get a couple of rainflys.......

We hang the hamac and tried it. Big, soft and strong; the color very pretty . Will buy 1 more.

Bought this for a backcountry camping trip last summer, and I am so so happy with it!Very easy to set up, stayed in place all weekend, even through a bad rainstorm, and very comfortable!It also dried very quickly after the rain - would for sure recommend, especially for those going camping!

Certainly have enjoyed this thing every time I've used it. Easy to set up and put away. Sweet variety of colors as well.

I LOVED this product! I bought it on a whim as I was gearing up to go camping with my girlfriends - most of whom already had hammocks to set up! This has been my favourite purchase all summer. If you love to camp, relax, and enjoy the views - this is the hammock for you! I love that it is compact, easy to set up and take down! It comes in a variety of colours, and I am very pleased with mine (Light blue). It was also very durable. At times there were two of us occupying my hammock and it held very well!
