Big thanks to seller for updated BIOS (2022 year)! It's helps me to install Xeon E5-2698 v3 with 16 cores and 32 threads without any issue!Also NVMe on PCIe card is new (0% usage according to SMART).about preinstalled OS: I've wiped out Windows, because I use Linux :)I recommend it!

Item not Working
When the power button is pressed, it appears to come on but with no display...literally nothing is happening.This is frustrating as I spent money on this and its not workingSelvon Ramroop

This is not a win 11 computer and No win 11 support for this CPU.
This is not a win 11 computer and MS will not renew, reset or upgrade it. No win 11 support for this CPU. I liked the bigger case... But a bad deal and has caused a lot of problems..

Great PC....for fraction of the original price.
This machine is very fast. Performs well and extremely quiet. You can't hear the fan or anything else. I love it so much. This is actually my second HP Z440. Was so impressed with the first one and bought a second machine. Using both in my home office.

Good work machine
I upgraded the hdd to newer NVMe primary and raided NVMe secondary, 2TB and 4TB Raid 5 respectively. Put bit better video card on it. Plenty of slots and USB 3 etc. Win 11 pro works fine though technically "unsupported cpu." I'm an Electrical Engineer and use it for work daily.

Exactly as advertised
Surprisingly good and came just as advertised. None of the problems people posted. Unit is very clean and almost as new. All specs as stated. Even came with a DVD drive, which wasn't in the specs. Graphics card is not a great one, but I knew that when I chose the unit. Once I upgrade the GPU, I will be set for video editing. Would recommend.

Excellent value
Works very well out of the box. However there is no documentation and only a power cord is provided w/the computer. Due to my unfamiliarity w/video cards that have only display port and DVI outputs, I had trouble getting it going until I realized that the DVI port is the primary video port.
