This "little livelies" collection from WoolyLady includes 6 cuts of hand-dyed wool, each measuring approx. 6" x 16". The colors include old gold, sun baked tile, sage, night sky navy, lake superior blue and dappled green. The WoolyLady uses the finest quality bleached white wool, woven in US mills, to achieve the vivid saturation of color. It has been boiled, rinsed and dryed so it is shrunk. They dye one yard at a time, felting the fabric in the process. As a result, the colors are complex, saturated and full of movement and light sources. WoolyLady wool is dyed using multiple "dips" in overlapping formulas to obtain the velvet or sueded appearance for which it is known. Care Instructions: Wooly Lady wool has been sufficiently felted and requires no pre-washing. Iron with steam using on the wool setting on your iron. To clean, dry clean or spot clean with a mild, pure soap (not a detergent) intended for fine fibers using only cool water. We do not recommend machine washing. Keep your wool out of direct sunlight. Treat your hand dyed wool like the work of art it is and it will last for generations.
