It is advertised as a 4-6 cup coffee but the carafe barely holds 4 cups to begin with thus, yielding slightly less than 4 cups. It should be categorized as a 2-4 cup coffee maker. The seller's response to my return request was:"This amount is an estimate made by the manufacturer for how many cups of coffee can be poured per batch. It does not refer to the unit of measurement that equals half a pint or eight fluid ounces. It's simply a subjective term which is why the product description states '4-6 cup coffee maker.' We cannot approve your return request based on this issue as per our company policy for Amazon purchases."I don't recommend buying anything from this seller since they are misrepresenting their product and refusing to allow a return. I guess the seller doesn't understand the impact of these reviews or, doesn't care.

This 4 cup coffee maker is perfect for one on the go at 5am, others have different hours, don't have to make a 12 cup , since it would lay there for a few hours. Beside it take longer for a 12 cup to brew. This little; guy makes it fast. Love it!Wilma Fl.
