Excalibur's Pendragon: Book One of the Aethervard Legacy Paperback – September 17, 2022

I can't recommend Excalibur's Pendragon enough. Almost every chapter revealed something new and opened up the door to a whole world of exploration. It impressed with new revelations, twists and surprises. It wonderfully blended fantasy with reality giving the impression that the story could be taking place just a few minutes away, or in a whole other world.The characters are just plain fun. Some are easily relatable, others are as if they were pulled out of a wild dream. And they all work! I was thoroughly entertained discovering each of them. Just like the story, Parker C Wilson reveals their complexity little by little providing texture and depth as we learn more about their world with them.And best of all it all works together into a captivating, suspenseful story. I am glad to have a copy of this book in my collection.

I don't read the fantasy genre in general. But I bought Excalibur's Pendragon to read on my Kindle. From the first sentence to the last it was an excellent read. The storyline is well crafted and enjoyable to follow. I especially liked the way the characters were so true to life. I can hardly wait 'til the next book in the series comes out. Parker Wilson has done a great job. Keep 'em coming Parker.

Ryan Walker, a teenager, is the main character of this book. He is fighting depression and all the emotions swirling around the untimely loss of his mother. The teen’s quest back to a “normal “ life is derailed when he learns he is the descendant of the famous King Arthur.Enjoyed reading the book and seeing how Ryan Walker manages to navigate through the ups and downs of his own emotions while coming to grips with the idea of being the heir to a kingdom.This is high fantasy. There are swords and sorcery. There is magic and monsters between the ages, but not enough to satisfy the rich history of creatures found in the legendary world of King Arthur. Enjoyed the characters and the risks taken while developing alliances and surprising betrayals. Beware. Fun read.

An old, familiar tale reimagined!! Excalibur's Pendragon will transport you into a world not unlike our own filled with hidden passages waiting to be unearthed.Filled with gripping characters, tender relationships, and harsh decisions this book will be your next obsession! Try to put together the surprising twists given as you inch your way through the chapters.As someone who generally takes much longer to complete a volume than most I finished it in little more than a week and adored each character! A fantastic addition to the fiction genre!!

What a magical creation of a modern day Pendragon who connects with Excalibur in this riveting 21st Century setting. The last 100 pages were so riveting I couldn’t put the book down. I look forward to book 2 and beyond.

I love how this book ties in a familiar epic tale with a relatable modern day story of an average boy in high school. I wish this series had been around when I was a teenager, it is a page turner, and puts my mind into an alternate universe that I almost wish existed. Excited for the series to continue.

It didn't take me long, literally a page or two, to want to keep turning pages to see what happens next. It is a great story line and a wonderful magical world. I simply had a tough time with the dialog. I realize that the book is intended for a teen audience so vernacular has to bee kept "clean", but having a house full of teenagers in the not so distant past made these exchanges sound forced and daytime drama-ish

This first book has all the makings of a great series. While it plays heavily into a classic arc, the author plays into it in a way that is unique and entertaining. This book brought me back to all my childhood favorites and left me dying for the next one.

A meaningful, action packed take on The story of the sword and the stone in modern day setting. A fast paced, well written story that holds you on the edge of your seat all the way, I would definitely recommend.
