I went based on the reviews of others who reportedly had my same height and weight. I guess you can't really tell what the body type is, unless there are photos, so thank you to those who were comfortable with showing photos.I'm 5'6, about 150 lbs, with bigger hips and thighs and butt meat. My waist is smaller, and my chest is large until it's put into a bathing suit. At that point, my chest deflates into a cup size smaller than normal. My torso is very short, and my breasts sit lower. Needless to say, my body type is not typical.This bathing suit was perfect for not cutting into the butt/thigh area. I hope that's still the case when I order the next size down.The bra portion of the bathing suit sits pretty high, or the torso is very long. I can't tell which, but my chest won't sit in the bra cups. It's also not tight enough to hold anything with support.I will update when I receive the medium.UPDATE: The medium fits much better, though there is a very weird seam in the back. (See photos) They have sewn the liner to the outside, creating a bulging lip in the back. There is no way to fix this. I think if somebody were brave enough to unstitch the liner from the bathing suit itself, it would relieve the bulge. But I don't know if it would be supportive.Still like the suit. Good color and style.

This suit fits like a dream and is well made. The green is a lovely, warmer shade (more olive) and the straps are strong and adjustable.

I liked the color and overall style of this swimsuit - specifically that it had more coverage. However, I ultimately returned it because of the fit. The top fit well but the bottom part was loose - not too loose that it was overly baggy but enough for you to be self conscious about it not being snug and in place. But if your body shape will fill out the bottom part (mine is lacking haha), then this could be a great swimsuit to add to your collection!

Don’t let the photos fool you, the suit is extremely faded. It’s as though iPhones just have built in photo editing to make everything look like a fancy dinner photo. haha.This faded after the FIRST WEAR.The suit was exposed to no chlorine (ocean wear only) and washed after wearing.Mine was the ONLY suit which faded.It came in the “don’t shoot me, I’m not a deer” orange, and is a combination of the pastel version of that and tie-dyed with 5 “almost” that color variants. There is no sheen or reflective quality at all.For being out and moving and surfing it’s no big deal as you don’t notice the splotches, but it is not what I paid for and the color is NOT as expected.Overall I’m disappointed, knowing a big box swimsuit would have been cheaper and held up better.This is an enormous disappointment and I’m sorry to all the others who showed faded suits and I thought “they must’ve worn them in chlorine and not washed them appropriately.”There are spots in the photo where water droplets from the table got the suit wet- THAT is the color it was the day before yesterday when I wore it the first time.Disappointing, do not buy if you’re concerned with maintaining color or look at all.Now, that having been said- it fits like a f*#%ing dream and I’d buy 3 more if they didn’t fade- instead I’m returning the one I got AND the second in a different color I’ve yet to wear.

Loved this so much, I bought 3 in different colors. LOVE this. The fit was good and the tie at the neck allows for adjustment to your cup size.
