Great performance and price
I bought this to replace an old desktop which is so slow we make a cup of coffee while it powers up. Only really use it for word, excel, email and a bit of web stuff, though use a tablet for that mostly. This little PC is perfect. Dead easy to set up and run. Fast as anything to load up and start the apps I use. Takes up so little space too. I was wary about buying something so small and cheap, but I am happy I didn’t spend more. This has everything I need for my requirements.

Cool bit of kit (G5 N100 16GB 512GB)
(My mark is actually 4.5 stars, but as their support was good I'm rounding up not down...)So the first issue is the description on the page (at least as I type) is both wrong and confusing, both in the headline and the spec chart. To clarify the unit I received has this spec:CPU: Intel N100DRAM: 16GB DDR5Disk: 512GB NVMe v1.4 PCIe SSDDisk: Empty internal bay for 2.5" SATA SSDEthernet: Dual 2.5GHz (Intel I225-V controller)USB: 3.2 Gen 2 to 3 x USB-A and 1 x USB-C, the latter also with 4k/60 video-out support (note "USB 3.2 Gen 2" is identical to both "USB 3.1 gen 2" and "USB 3.1 SuperSpeed Plus" at 10Gbps max)WiFi: WiFi 6 (Intel AX101)Bluetooth: v5.2 (Intel)HDMI: Dual v2.0 both supporting 4k/60p *Operating system: Win 11 ProPSU: 36W UK 3-pin plugMisc: 1 fan (some similar units have 2, but with this CPU I doubt you care)* I believe the N100 supports HDMI 2.1 but I've seen 2.0 stated in several places so am going with it, I haven't tested it. (I've tested everything else to confirm the spec.)There are a lot of these little PCs around and many seem to use the same motherboard. I don't know if that means several of the makes are just brands owned by one company, or someone designed a board and a bunch of people are using it in their boxes. Possibly a bit of both. The N100 is usually a 6W CPU so runs cool, but isn't a speed demon as it really likes to run at 800MHz (or less, but can go to 3.4GHz if needed). The main other processors (strictly SoCs) you can get fitted to these boards are the N95 and i3-N305. The N95 runs several things faster but the N100 has more execution units (EUs) in its Xe family GPU (24 vs 16) to help reduce the difference. The 15W i3-N305 is IMHO the one you want if more performance is what you are after, with twice the cores (8 vs 4) and 32 EUs, but a desktop CPU it isn't (I'm not sure Trigkey make one, but others do the same motherboard with one fitted). The fan is quiet but not silent. In a room with some background noise it'll disappear, in a really quiet room I can hear it when it gets busy, but at a modest level. The hard disk benchmarks around 800MB/s, which is decent but not spectacular, but for £199 I'm fine with it, boot times are fast.(Note Windows is set-up for "fast startup" as shipped, where when it shuts down it stores an image of the Windows state and loads it again on boot, which is like hibernate but only stores the operating system stuff, not any running applications like hibernate would, so you start at a login prompt with no apps saved. This has been known to cause issues with some things, and my disk imaging tool definitely would have been unhappy with it. After I turned that off it booted in a similar time but took a little longer to shut-down.)It also comes with secure boot turned off, so you could boot from a USB stick (or other things). Trigkey do supply a (10GB) operating system image allowing you to replace the shipped one via a bootable USB stick if you screw it up too much. Note it's F7 on boot to bring up the menu of what device to boot from, also Del to enter BIOS Setup (but be careful there!) - note you'll need a USB keyboard to do this, Bluetooth won't work.My one came with Windows 21H2 installed, entertainingly 3 days after Microsoft dropped support for it. It didn't immediately update to 22H2 (the latest as I type) but I remembered that Windows does tend to wait a little while to offer feature updates after installing standard ones and lo-and-behold a few days later 22H2 was offered and installed just fine.BTW you have to complete the final parts of Windows installation on first boot, as usual. I found if you don't want to use a Microsoft login but a local Workgroup or Domain one the method on Tom's Hardware to do that worked fine. Look for something like "install-windows-11-without-microsoft-account".Disassembly involves removing 4 screws in the corners of the base and if you wish to remove the Motherboard 4 more in its corners. If you want to disconnect the SATA disk bay in the base you need to lift two ends of the dark side of the ribbon cable connector with a fingernail and the ribbon should come out easily. Note the Motherboard has captive wires to the WiFi and Bluetooth antenna on the box top so stop it falling too far out. I found it tricky to remove the motherboard but found a sharp tap against my palm worked well - no promises this wouldn't cause a problem for anyone else though, do at your own risk. Don't do the Motherboard screws up that tight on re-assembly as the small bushes are only held in by fairly weak friction. As I said the board is used in several other similar small computers (all based on the Intel NUC concept). For benchmarks and such-like this page is good (especially if you read Chinese, but I found Chrome's English translation was fine). Note this one has a second fan, which the N100 G5 doesn't (see my attached pics for a comparison):As links are not allowed search for: 国产迷你主机好用吗,零刻EQ12拆机深度评测Hers's a review of a similar unit with the i3-N305:As links are not allowed search for: All in One Mini主机的新标杆——零刻EQ12 Pro迷你主机深度评测I suspect the N100 is a sweet spot unless you want to play (fairly vs very simple) games, when the pricier i3-N305 is a maybe, but something much faster might be a better idea if games is your thing.I'm very happy with my Trigkey G5 and also found their support both prompt and helpful in replying - recommended both as a unit and as a brand.P.S. For the reviewer who said they couldn't get video over USB-C to work - you can't just use any USB-C cable for this and need a special one. In think one with Thunderbolt support should work.

Great piece of kit
This works very well and is surprisingly capable. If all you need is a regular desktop machine then this is more than enough. The Windows install was fine, however, I wanted to install and use Linux Mint. This was all ok except the Wi-Fi did not work (although the Ethernet did). This was fixed by manually installing kernel v 6.5 which took me a little research to figure out, and may be useful others.

Good value, easy to set up, fast enough for general computing.
Bought for my elderly father and seems to be find. It has enough storage already without adding additional hard drives. This might be a factor for you: these budget PCs often have 128GB or less and although you can upgrade this becomes a real hassle unless you are computer savvy. I am not so when I tried it on a previous mini-PC getting the drive recognised by win11 was a hassle and then getting files stored on the added SSD never really worked. So learn from lack of knowledge and pay a bit more for a larger SSD. It is cheaper if it is pre-installed anyway. The 16GB RAM is heaps for general surfing and I'd have thought this little pc will cope with YouTube videos happily. It can run several programs at once.Windows 11Pro is very different to look at compared with Win10. It is logical and you will get used to it. Most importantly, with Win11Pro you get better built-in security features although third party security software really is essential these days.I have popped this on the back of my father's monitor out of the way. The sides of the PC box have the connections in logical places, which means that when placed on the vesa plate, the top side has the needed controls (on/off and two usb sockets) with the use-and-forget sockets are at the bottom (HDMI, power, keyboard, etc).Very pleased with it.

Very good product!
Yes you can also upgrade this to a corsair ddr4 sodimm (laptop size) memory stick for 32gb of ram.It worked for me perfectly fine, support are responsive and the CPU in this is the cheapest for n100 nucs.Very good quality, you can tell its made with a lot of passion to cram all of the tiny pieces inside.Fan is a bit loud under load however as expected for a mini sized computer.Very recommended!

Only supports 4k@30/29.97Hz, not 144
So screen is very sluggish in 4k. Maybe write the spec correctly ?

A great mini pc
My Mum needed a new PC to replace her current one that was just getting slower and slower over the years. I decided that a mini pc would be all she needed as it's only going to be used for browsing and banking. This little computer fits the bill perfectly. Comes pre-installed with Windows 11 and set up was very quick and easy. They give you the option of restoring a previous computers apps and settings, but I prefer to start fresh. I had the machine up and running with the apps she uses in about 30 minutes. It has 4 USB3 ports which is enough for basic needs. The only niggle I have with pretty much all mini-pcs is that they put the speaker jack on the front. It really would be better if they were on the back. Being on the front means you have to have a speaker cable sticking out at all times (unless you use bluetooth or USB-only speakers of course). The fan kicks in from time to time, but it's not overly noisy. For the price this little computer is difficult to beat for basic computing needs.

A good inexpensive box for HTPC duties.
This was bought to run as a LibreElec box serving mainly as a TVHeadEnd front-end. Combine it with a Pulse-Eight USB HDMI CEC adapter (so that you can control the user interface with your television's remote control) and it does its job perfectly. It has enough horse power to serve as a HTPC, is small enough to be discreet in the living room, doesn't make enough noise to be distracting and doesn't cost a fortune. All in all, I can recommend this little box for such duties.
