I'm SO embarrassed and disappointed with these particular Exervo Water Exercise Pool Dumbells (Maximum strength) because I gave these as a gift to one of the ladies in my water aerobics class. After three (3) uses, the tip of the Dumbell came off in the water while we were exercising and I felt so badly and ashamed that the gift I gave didn't last long enough for her to enjoy it. My mouth flew opened and our water aerobics teacher said, "Use some super glue to fix it." Well, I NEVER expected that my friend would ever have to use super glue on these Pool Dumbells because we don't abuse them in the water and we do not use them every session. That's what's so humiliating is that we may use our Pool Dumbells five or six times a month. I have a pair of Pool Dumbells that I've been using for three years and I haven't had any problem with them (Hallelujah!). Oh, well, I guess it happens but I am so ashamed that I gave them as a gift.

These weights are superb of build, size, and comfort.They WILL give you a good workout and fatigue your muscles. They are quite 'heavy' in the water.I bought these for myself when my wife's water weights seemed too light - these don't disappoint.With these weights, the most strenuous (nearly impossible for me) exercise ~ with legs out of water on/over pool edge, on back with arms extended - try to push them down into the water ~ these weights will truly tax your muscles and give a very good and varied workout.Price and shipping were excellent - very pleased with these and plan to order more pool fitness gear from this manufacturer.

Max resistance IF you can get them under the water. THey aren't the most comfortable dumbbells I've ever had but I alternate them with other ones and they round out the workout. If you're new to these things, give yourself ample time to get the feel for them. They pop apart here and there too but the price was nice enough.

I never thought anything made of foam would be a challenge for a 6ft guy..just try to stand in the pool and lock your elbows inplace and push down. Feel your triceps burn. Now try and stand there and do for as long as you can. You'll be ripped in no time.

These are exactly what I was looking for to use for my rehab from sergery. The old ones I have are decent, but when I tried these maximum resistance Bells, I was pleasantly surprised. The old ones are on the shelf for good. They have a good grip that doesn't slip and that helps me when I use them during a riggorous workout.

Loving these!!!! I'm getting a great workout but with low impact to the joints, etc. They are very sturdy, don't leak water as I've read similiar products do. My husband didn't really think they offered much of a challenge until he tried them himself. Now I have to share my dumbbells with him.

give a nice amount of resistance. Using pool dumbbells is more like using a bowflex then lifting real weights in my opinion.

I have been looking for a great set of pool barbells like the ones I use in my aqua fit class at the health center. These are exactly what I was looking for. Excellent quality! I highly recommend.
