It does well killing flies but does not "light" the room
I was so excited to receive these but when it arrived the box was opened, the top was off and it didn't actually light so I emailed them and they sent another. During that time I did verify that it indeed kills flies. The light that did work is the LED part that is a bluish purplish color, I believe it is to attract the flies. There isn't an order or a sound that I observed. I am happy with this product except for the fact that both times it was delivered the box was opened and the bulb was coming out and that fact that they appear to light the room in the picture but neither of the ones I have light up. Since it doesn't "light" up the room, you have to have another light in the same room for you to see well. These tests were done in the garage and in my home.
