Dear Dordo: The World War II Letters of Dorothy and John D. MacDonald

Well, here they are! Even if you never heard of JDM. And then go read his books, especially the Travis McGee series (all available on audio and MP3/CDs too). This is a book compiled from real WW2 love letters between husband and wife through the duration of the war. It is just lovely - and if the introductory section (filled with photos) does not grab you... Well, it will. And don't worry about the price. Worth every penny and well bound.
