The fit is a little tight due to the extra carbon filtering. The tight fit is actually very good since it seals better all around the compartment.

Air flow was greatly diminished.

I'm sure this filter works great, perhaps a little too good. The problem being is that I have noticed the flow has dramatically decreased. I can only assume that the filter is so tightly woven that it restricts air flow. This wouldn't be a huge issue for me but I live in a very hot climate and I want all the airflow I can get. I will be switching to a different filter during the hottest months.

I swapped my cabin air filter out due to a “stale” smell in the cab of the truck. This filter immediately cleared that smell up, and my air feels even cooler and more comfortable. I think the activated charcoal is probably the secret to the noticeable improvement. The filter fit great and was easy to install. This will be my choice of filter in the future.

The foam padding on the sides made installing tricky. Had to be careful not to crush it. Otherwise, does the job

I have a few things to say about this filter but I'm not going to reiterate what the previous reviews state about the product, although they're true. I installed my filter into a 2016 f150. It was a tight fit. This filter needs to be sturdy, or else it would crinkle up trying to push it in. I pulled on the loop to see how difficult it will be when it's time to replace it again, and the loop just easily ripped right off. I'll have to be careful when removing it so the activated charcoal beads don't go everywhere. However, the conditioned air coming out of my vents is reminiscent of being in a brand new truck. I replace my cabin air filter every 20-30k miles and my truck hasn't smelled this fresh since my truck was new. While scrolling through all the cabin air filters on Amazon, I noticed a lot of different brands that look just like this one. I'm sure they're all made by the same company, but have different names. Don't know that for sure but I chose the least expensive one. I liked this filter so much, I ordered one for my wife's and daughter's cars.
