Very good brightness and long lasting

Lowest price found for a box of five but unfortunately these bulbs didn't quite fit the the light sockets. See pictures. Unlike me make sure you compare before ordering.

These are always a pain to source. We use them in kitchen downlighters, and the quality (and brightness) varies greatly. I got these, and it is safety in numbers—I will always have a spare. They were very easy to fit and matched the fitment perfectly. The light is good and one of the brightest I've had for its 26W. It's a slightly clinical white, however, this is great because the downlighter glass is a slight vanilla colour, so the warmth of the fitted light was spot on, not hazy, plenty of brightness, spot on.Best of all - five of them for a good price. Recommended.

Good fit but flashes a lot before firing up

This five pack of fluorescent bulbs come packaged in a clear plastic membrane. When we first moved into our house fifteen years ago the lamp fittings were CFL type. Bulbs were expensive to source and the light output was pretty poor. So I had many fittings returned to bayonet type however a few fittings were not able to be changed so I’ve had to keep using CFL bulbs. It should be noted that these types of bulbs require electrical ballast in the circuit, so if you’re just replacing bulbs you’ll be fine.The colour temperature of these bulbs is best suited to places like kitchens and bathrooms. Cool white offers good vision or a working environment too and these bulbs provide that. At 26w power consumption that’s a high figure compared to the LEDs I generally use but if you want a high light output these are ideal.Do take note that the bulb elements are quite long, so I couldn’t put one in my bathrooms as they didn’t fit the space. However in a pendant type setting they’re fine.Recommended and good value.

As far as pricing goes, this pack of 5 bulbs are good value for money in comparison to what's on the market.The bulbs are nicely presented, packed well (although the plastic isnt as hard as it probably should be for protecting the bulbs) with the details on the front of the box, but the labelling seems a bit wrong. These are CFL bulbs as the sellers advert states, but the box had LED on it. Not sure if that is meant to stand for something else, as these are not LED bulbs.All bulbs work fine but I couldn't comment on the 8000h lifespan. Hopefully they do live up to the claim, but at £2.60 per bulb, you can't really go wrong.

It worked fine in the fitting. I couldn’t find these bulbs anywhere else and felt it was good value for 5. Only time will tell how long they last. I will update this review if I experience any issues with these bulbs in the future.

Fantastic pack of LED fluorescent light bulbs! The brightness, shape and size are perfect! Exactly what I needed. They are really easy to install and the cool white light looks great!
