Never thought about getting something like this for the home until recently while I was watching a family member walking through our muddy backyard while working a big project. So, I got these for family to wear if and when they need them. Also, we have some automotive DIY's in our family so good for that.

I am reviewing the pack of 300 black disposable shoe covers sold by the Tomus-UNI store. I have been searching for a versatile, relatively inexpensive set of disposable shoe covers. Because there are so many goat heads where we live, I ask visitors to take off their shoes when entering our home. It occurred to me recently that not everyone might like the idea of removing their shoes, so I started trying out different shoes covers, and so far, this is my favorite. These are more of a universal fit than others I have tried. These are labeled to be used with size 6- 11.5. I was able to just squeeze these on to Hubby’s size 12 sneakers. It did rip just a little bit at the heel, but once I got it over the heel of the shoe, it was smooth sailing. Due to the way the elastic is put on the bottom, these also fit my size 5 shoes without being too big and floppy. These don’t have any type of anti-slip coating that I can see on the bottom, but surprisingly, they are not slippery on my laminate wood floors. These seem to be the same type of fabric that my garden frost covers are made from, it is advertised as polypropylene by the seller. At the time of this review, the pack of 300 shoe covers is selling for $32.56, which comes out to about 22 cents per pair. Whether one wants to keep their floors clean from dust and debris, wants to decrease tracking of germs from outside, or protect from goat heads, these shoes covers can do it all and I would recommend them to anyone in search of shoe covers. These shoe covers are a good way to keep floors clean from dirty footwear. I didn't slide around on the floor with them on, so the non-slip bottom seems to be effective. As for being water resistant, it may be for a light misting of water, but if you spill a drink on them or step in a puddle, the water will seep inside and get your footwear wet. Also, if your footwear is wet to begin with when you slip these on (e.g., if you were outside in the rain/snow), these will not prevent that liquid from transferring to the floor - these might be good for dirt and dust, but not so much for anything wet. These are advertised as fitting foot/shoe sizes 6 -11.5, but I wear 13 wide and they fit just fine over my sneakers and boots.

This is the review of disposable shoe covers. Came in a large bag with 100 pairs. Felt like this is hospital quality shoe covers and I use this for guest inside the house and when I visit other houses for my work. It fits my wide size 10 shoes without issues and came with some texture to prevent slipping. I feel like it is enough to create a barrier from the shoes to the floor. It is strong and last from normal walking.

I got these to have on hand when I need to go in the house and don't have time to take off my outside work boots/shoes. They are best for shoes that are dirty, but dry. These are not waterproof. They would be OK, if the shoes are just wet from rain or something, but not mud and such.
