The media could not be loaded. Work provided me with the cheapest possible, plastic noisy wired mouse. I never used it until recently my own wireless mouse died a death. Switched to the wired one and lasted a few days before ordering this! It’s lovely to hold, smooth action, the click is almost completely silent and the shape is lovely in your hand.

Good design and great value

You know immediately that the Perixx PERIMICE-621 is a budget mouse by its price and by the plain-looking brown box it comes in. The one I ordered came in all white and this appears to be a new color. It is also available in pink, beige and black, with black being the cheapest. The manual is a tiny foldout with only 3 page of information in English.You will not mistake this mouse for a gaming mouse with its 2 DPI options, 1000/1600 and single 125 Hz polling rate, but I ordered it because I love mice with silent left and right clicks and I liked the shape of the mouse. I also really don't care if it has a rechargeable battery and that you have to use your own AA battery, since I use AA rechargeable batteries in many devices anyway. It can only connect over the supplied 2.4 GHz dongle which you find when you first open the box, unless of course it falls out of the cardboard slot meant for it like mine did. There is no mention of a warranty in the listing, however I was easily able to find the Perixx website where they list clearly at the top that their products come with a one year limited warranty and Lifetime Customer Support along with a form to contact them if needed.I've grown fond of lightweight mice lately, and the Perixx PERIMICE-621 weighs 88g with a rechargeable Ni-MH AA battery inside and is not near as lightweight as some other of my favorite lightweight mice like the Redragon M815 PRO which weighs a mere 52g. However, because of its ergonomic shape, slightly smaller size than a standard mouse (only 4.41 inches long) and decent mouse skates on the bottom it's as easy to move across the desktop as mice that are much lighter. It wasn't quite as smooth moving across my desktop as my recently reviewed RAPIQUE R-09 which surprised me a bit since it actually had more well-placed mouse skates on the bottom than that mouse. It likely has a less expensive sensor considering the low price, but with a few tweaks of my Windows mouse properties it was fine.DPI levels: There are only 2 DPI levels, 1000 and 1600. There is no DPI button either on the top or bottom of the mouse, and you change the DPI level by holding down the left click button and the mouse wheel button for 3 seconds. The mouse wheel will flash once for 1000 DPI and twice for 1600 DPI.Buttons and Ergonomics: The mouse is for right-handed use only, and while being comfortable to hold, it might be too small for medium or larger hands. I recently tried (and liked a lot) the RAPIQUE R-09 wireless mouse which has a similar shape, but the Perixx PERIMICE-621 is even better as it is just slightly longer in length and the back of the mouse is higher and fits better into the palm of your hand. The left and right clicks are indeed silent and I love them. The sides and top of the mouse are not smooth but have a textured feel to them which helps in gripping the mouse. The mouse wheel moves easily and the mouse wheel button does not require much effort to push. It has a very good mouse wheel for a budget mouse. While moving the mouse, the mouse wheel will light up in red.Battery: Could not find any information on battery life either in the listing or at the Perixx website.Sleep mode: In the manual it states that it goes to sleep after 15 minutes and that a mouse click is required to wake it up. I also love the silent clicks. If you have medium to large hands however, this mouse may not be for you. But for people with smaller hands like myself, especially since it comes with a one year warranty, at the low price it is definitely worth the purchase if you are looking for a comfortable smaller size lightweight mouse with silent clicks.

This mouse is whisper quiet, works smooth and is super easy to install. It can be switched back and forth between my work and personal laptop. I have small hands, and it fits nice and is comfortable. It goes to sleep to save battery power, which is a nice feature. It delivered super-fast. It is a good value for the price I would buy it again.
