I am enjoying this CLEVAST Smart Space Heater. It was very easy to set up and relatively easy to connect to my home Wi-Fi to utilize the smart features. You should read the included instructions/documentation that explains the 6 different modes. I like the touch controls; you don't have to press very hard to select them. The fan on the heater is fairly quiet. The oscillating spans the reported 83 degrees. It will also beep several times and turn itself off (with the included 10 second cooldown) if it gets knocked over. When it is turned over, you get a notification on your phone via the app, which is a good feature. I also like that you can set a child lock through the app. When this is set to on, the heater can only be controlled on the app, not the buttons on the heater itself.I am using it in a master bath, and it warms the room, not quickly, but it will warm it. I don't think it alone would heat a large room, but it is perfect for small office, baths or medium size rooms.I like that I can control the heater with the phone app and can do this in any room. I really like that I can tell Alexa to turn it on or off or be able to put it on a routine, although I haven't done this yet.It did lose its connection to the Wi-Fi and I had trouble reconnecting it. After a few days of trying it on my own, I reached out to support, through the app. They got back with me within a day saying they'd look into it. About a week went by and I hadn't heard any more so I emailed support back to check with them again and they responded a few minutes later to 'try again that it should be fixed'. I was then able to reconnect to my Wi-Fi. It has stayed connected for about a week now.I'm happy with this smart heater.

The app doesn’t ever think the heater is on so you can’t turn it off or change the settings remotely when the heater is going and once the heater really is turned off, the app can’t connect to it to turn it on remotely. So as others have said, this has a worthless app, and since it was a selling point for the heater itself, that feels like a pretty dishonest thing for the company to do. The heater itself seems so far to be a great little power house, though I’ve only had it a few days. Hoping it will at least continue to do a good job of heating without the smart features so it can be worth the three stars I’m generously giving it here.

In time for winter, this small but powerful heater fits well in a bedroom or living room. It is tall and has an oscillating function. It is meant to be connected to your wifi network and to be fully controlled with your cell phone/tablet. However, the basic functions are available in the app and can be set manually with the buttons on the top. Unfortunately, the light on top is only accessible through the app. For bedroom use, it is likely you will not want the top ring light on at night while sleeping. The unit can generate excellent heat at the highest setting - I use it mainly on the lower setting as I do not need the highest heating level. It has the usual safeguards for tipping over or being left on too long. The app is easy to set up, however, it is a bit confusing to set up for timer use and to turn on and off automatically. It also has a confusing, not quite functional thermostat mode that I have been unable to get to work reliably. However, it is a solid manual unt that you can use to simply turn on and off the heat when you need it., It is relatively quiet, not as whisper quiet as I thought, but fine for night time use (it is almost a while noise-like sound).

This is not the review I thought I would be writing the first 20 minutes after I opened this heater. The design makes it look like the on/off button is on top. There's a piece of molded plastic that looks like an on/off button. It has the icon. But it DOES NOT PRESS.So, maybe I needed to do the app thing first? I grabbed my phone, found the app, installed. Still couldn't get the danged thing to turn on.I was actually packing it back up in the box, muttering to myself about a broken heater, and when I had picked it up and was reaching for the cord in the back to wind up, there tucked in the back air-intake grill, there is a tiny little on/off switch. By the cord. At the bottom. From the business area on top.That? That's bad design.However, once that was pressed, the touch screen on top started working and so did everything else.it's a great heater. I've had no trouble with it at all. I set the temperature and let it do its thing, and the thing it did was all good! It's a pretty substantial heater too. It easily heats my office (which is about 12'x16' and has one window I need to periodically open for the exhaust for my laser.I have zero complaints about it above that one little tiny On/Off where I absolutely did not look for it until I was packing it to return.I'm giving it 5 stars because it has been working really great. Just, watch out for that switch. That should be on *top* or a prominent area in the toppish part of the heater.

This heater was so much nicer than I was expecting. It has been quite a few years since I have used a space heater, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this heater. The outside looks great, it reminds me of an expensive brand name fan/vacuum company’s products by appearance alone. The functionality of the heater is what really impressed me though. They were so thoughtful in the design, which is exactly what you want in a space heater. The temperature, fan speed and timer are all adjustable. It has a very sleek and warm colored night light ring that you can use, and the oscillating function is brilliant. The ability to have this running while you are bathing the kids, or just a cold morning shower are so much easier to take when this is on. I have also used it in the entryway/mud room because it doesn’t have it’s own radiator, so it seems colder on the floor than other rooms, but with this heater going, it felt like it was the warmest room in the house! I could have this thing running in my house for most of the winter, it is just enough to run shortly to warm a room, and move the warm air around, but not too much heat where you feel stuffy.
