It’s been four years now. Not one has burned out. I have them on steps, in the Oregon rain. They run about 12 hrs a day.

Ease of installation . It makes my interior floating stairs look like a million bucks. Good value

I installed these lights 4 years ago on my deck. The soft white has a great light quality and they are on dimmable transformer, which gives them a lot of versatility - 5 stars for look and light quality. I knocked off 2 stars for longevity, as 2 (of 11) have burned out after 4 years. Based on the hours of usage, it should’ve lasted much longer. They claim to have a 50,000+ hour lifetime. I estimate I have use them for 6000 hours. They should’ve lasted 30+ years, but I’ve had to replace 2 in 4 years :(As I’ve hidden the wiring in my deck posts, replacing them takes me an hour or two to crawl below the deck and splice wires. I bought an extra 6-pack so I would have extras in the event others failed and I couldn’t get these any longer.If your installation is such that they are easy to replace, no worries. But in retrospect would’ve preferred fixtures with replaceable bulbs.

These are what I wanted to replace the deck riser lighting because the 'eyelid' design shines downward instead of outward, (so they don't shine up into peoples' eyes). Unfortunately, the connectors were the wrong size to fit the existing deck wiring. (Even had the electrician help me pick them out. Wah-wah.)

These light kits are great and I would gladly recommend them and/or use them on a future project. We installed these on our back deck steps because it is pretty dark in that area and we needed some accent lights to see the steps.Pros:- Great price/value compared to other brands- Super easy to install/setup (connecting to Wi-Fi was really easy too)- Look/feel like a durable, quality product- If you use the App to control the lights (color, timer, etc.) you will not be disappointed (pretty well designed product/app)- Customer support was awesome and resolve my issue really quickCons:- The lights are a little dim...don't get me wrong, they light up our steps and allow us to see where we are going, but I just wish they were about 20%-30% brighter. They serve their purpose, so not really a con, just a personal preference.- We bought two sets. One set stopped working altogether after 2 weeks of use. I contacted customer support and they helped IMMEDIATELY! (So a Pro and a Con in one... if this unit doesn't die again in the next 6 months, I would consider revising my review to 5-stars)

For this project, we purchased 32 step lights, installing two lights per step. We chose these over others mostly due to the ease of installation and because the lights have diffuser lenses over the LEDs, reducing the change of glare. We tried one other LED light during a test phase and found that you could see the individual LEDs as you walked up the steps, and this was just not tolerated by the homeowner. Rather than use the included power transformer, we chose instead to go with a single outdoor-rated 12v magnetic LED driver. The driver is fed from a Lutron MLV-rated dimmer switch, allowing us to adjust the lights based on the amount of light needed. We found that after dark, when the dimmer was set to 25% this was the ideal amount of light. Please note that these lights have three individual LEDs and are very, very bright.One nitpick is the screws that were included were very, very short. They are not the ones shown in the photos in the listing. We opted to not use the included screws and instead buy a 100-count box of 1/2" stainless screws from a local hardware store. That resolved the matter.Since the 12v LED driver would also be powering LED tape lighting placed under the deck railing, we needed to split the DC power. The waterproof junction box you see in the last images fit the bill perfectly. It was mounted under the top steps and provided a clean way to distribute the power. The home is in the Minneapolis area and winters here are harsh. Between the summer's high and the winter's low temperatures, we see swings of more than 120 degrees. I won't know if the lights and the junction box meet my expectations for reliability and durability...but based on my experience and the build quality evident in both, we should have a trouble-free installation.

These step lights seem high quality with solid construction of potentially delicate step light fixtures. The metal part is thick enough, it has a nice quality finish and the LED light/lens fits nicely in the metal housing. Installation is positive and allows for removal if necessary.Although these lights SAY they're dimmable, and they ARE, BE SURE TO GET A COMPATIBLE DIMMER! It took three attempts with less expensive dimmers before I learned that they weren't compatible with these step lights. I love these lights while they're working, but... I have 25 of them installed on my stairs outside for the last ~4-5 years. They are beautiful and I get comments about them all the time. Each and EVERY year, I have to replace ONE of them that goes bad. I waited and replaced two of them today (I am very handy but it took ~2 hours). Unfortunately for me, I installed these during construction of the stairs and some of them are rather difficult to replace. If yours are easy to replace then this won't be a problem, just order extras. I would have loved to give 5 stars, but because of their reliability I simply can't.

Installation intérieur du garage . Facile d'installation et d'utilisation. Vien avec une manette et peut être programmer par application. Ex. Entre 4h00 pm et 11h59 pm les lumière son alummer en couleur changeante progressivement. Sa fait quand même du style =)

As the photos explain, these lights work excellently for deck path illumination. Easy to install, and built exceptionally strong. With this ten light kit, I was informed upon requesting more technical info, that one can add 6 additional lights with the supplied transformer. Thankyou FVTLED!
