Light and compact with good performance
This is a lightweight pair of open-ear headphones. I really like this style of non-penetrating headphones. They don't offer the same sound isolation as buds or cups but I prefer them. They don't irritate my ear canal, they don't fall out and get lost and i don't have to constantly take them off to talk to people. This pair is very light and compact which makes them very comfortable to wear. Some sets give me ear fatigue after a few hours but i can wear these pretty much indefinitely. The band is flexible and small so you can lay your head on a pillow without pushing them off or being uncomfortable. The sound is surprisingly good for such small speakers. Good range of sound and good fidelity. There is also a microphone for taking phone calls. The mic reception is ok. The mic sound isolation could be better too. Basically they work well to talk but only if you are in a pretty quiet place. The controls are all via capacitive (touch) control on the right speaker. Long touch for on/off, 1 touch for play/pause/answer, 2 touches for forward and 3 for back. No volume control.I'm not crazy about touch controls because I'm constantly touching inadvertently. I prefer tactile controls. That said these work pretty good though they take a bit of learning. In spite of the controls, these are now my go-to set because of the comfort and sound quality. Battery life is also quite good considering the small size.Very good value IMO.

Nice Touchscreen Earbuds with NO Volume Control
When I run in the morning, I love the listen to music as I trudge though the rural trails out ere on our property. My husband enjoys helping me get my running items together and when he mentioned these earbuds to me, I was excited to find out what they were about. At first, I couldn't figure them out, until I played with them on my run and I do like them, but I do have a few issues about them.First off, they are nice, lightweight earbuds that are coated in some sort of lamination which is astounding for running, though they are not adjustable which would be helpful as my head is rather larger than most and my left ear is a bit deformed with a narrow ear canal and some deformity at the top of my ear and also the earlobe. Why I mention this is for the reason that the earbuds don't stay in all that way with my one bad ear that I am happy that it does at least hear alright. With the bad ear and the left earbud not staying in as well, I would not blame the manufacturer about that deal. Second, it is a touchscreen deal and if you apparently set your fingers on the right earbud, you can turn it on and off, which I have not successfully done completely yet, I just sort of wing it and it ends up working at some point. Touchscreen earbuds does show how much technology has advanced for sure, but I do not appreciate the no volume control at all, though I understand that these are probably made for a Smartphone app or compatibility, but I never use my Smartphone out where I live in rural America as we have no mobile service out here. I did dock it one star for no volume control as all of my music on my Bluetooth MP3 player is downloaded and the volume can range a lot from song to song.I don't use these for anything other than listening to music on my run, so I can't comment or review any other deal about them includinng being able to use them answer phone calls. I will add that besides the no volume control, these are very nice and neat earbuds that I will continue to use for every morning that I am able to and I will add lastly that they are pretty easy to connect to my player every time I use them.

Interesting -- good idea for a lot of scenarios
I have often wondered about getting headphones like these. It seems that the trend is to go more and more "noise canceling" which is good and has its place, but this is the opposite. You get great sound, but you can also be aware of sounds around you.First, let me say that these headphones arrived quickly and are exactly as described. (They come in a lovely box, if they're supposed to be a gift.) It took me just a second to connect them. The biggest hurdle in this is that there is no "button" to press, only a sensor. So, you put your finger over the sensor for 4 seconds to turn it on, watch for the blinking light and then pair it. To turn it off, you also put your finger over the sensor for4 seconds. This has been very difficult for me. It may just be my fault, but it takes me a number of tries to turn them on and then turn them off again. To be honest, I haven't yet been able to turn them off.Like I mentioned above, there are a number of scenarios where not having noise canceling headphones would work better. The seller mentions jogging or biking, and I wholeheartedly agree, but I would also add times where you are caretaking for another. You want your music/podcast/whatever to be silent for only you to hear, but you also want to hear if the person you're tending needs you.Another example is when you want to be aware of your surroundings. This is so important for a lot of people. Being able to have phone/music, but also hear around you could potentially protect you from a lot of harm.I want to also mention that the headphones are very comfortable. My husband despises earbuds, but he really enjoys these. They are very lightweight, but they're designed to stay on. I jumped, shook my head, and moved around, but they didn't move at all.Definitely a good product. Great for you or for a gift.

Sound great with little leakage
These head phones are amazing! I was really impressed with how good quality and loud you can play music out of these headphones. As well everything is really compact, and it hardly feels like they are on your face! Even though they don't go into your ear, other people can't hear what your listening to somehow. In my opinion the only down side to these impressive headphones is that they don't look the best, but are hard to see
