A good bit of kit and well made' I was hoping to use this on flexi hoses to taps and toilets in situations were I can't easily isolate the supply but unfortunately the tubes don't close far enough so I'm back to using G clamps to close the flexis in emergencies.

This is not something I will use often, but in truth, using it just once can save a lot of time and effort, not to mention stress.I have a run of blue pipe down my garden for the greenhouse and cold frames so it is used daily during the growing season. I needed to add a tee junction and take an extension for another project I am involved with, so I tried this little tool and it worked perfectly - saving having to turn off the mains.A simple and yet very useful idea.
