Our Most Dear Friend: Bhagavad-gita for Children

Its a wonderful book which is simply explained for Kids. My kid loves the pictures and the explanation given in the book. A Heartfelt thanks to Mother Vishaka.

I've returned this item as it actually doesn't contain anything of the BG. I wanted to introduce the kids to this part of their heritage but this book doesn't contain many of the themes at all.Particularly the theme of detached action is important to teach everyone but this isn't even included. It has only very few words and some very old pictures of children holding doves etc.I don't like giving a low rating to a religious book but there must be better books on this topic out there !

I brought this for my niece who is 8 years old... she loves anything about Krishna and so she loved the pictures and found it fun to read.

This book is very simple yet beautifully written and designed. Everyone can definitely learn something from it. Would recommend.

I thought this book was beautifully conceived. All the photo imagery really help to bring out the best in the lessons from the Gita. There are not many books of this nature for children and so I think it is wonderful to see such a book so child friendly with so many vital life lessons and so much knowledge.

This is truly a unique book illustrated with beautiful photos and images and written in a language and style that children will understand. I especially like the changing bodies photo and the wonderful nature images that will evoke a sense of wonder, query and inspiration in children. It is a wonderful gift for children of any faith or denomination as it extracts the essence of the philosophy of the Bhagavad gita in a very digestible way.
