Works great had to read the instructions 10 times and it all came together

I encourage anyone trying to assemble this kit to watch since I show the controller settings required to make the kit work. I spent 10 days going back at forth with support to get these settings, I don’t think anyone would ever guess a few of these based on the instructions provided (for example, battery setting 2 is LiPo battery but they told me you have to select setting 3).The product is a solar based pond aerator so if you go in expecting this product to only run well in full sunlight I believe it will live up the that expectation. If you expect it to run 24 hours per day or when it is not sunny then the other reviews are correct and you will need to add a bunch more panels and batteries. I just needed some aeration, especially during the hot sunny times of the year and I am pleased with the final outcome so far. If anything changes through the seasons I will update the review.The only reason I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5 is they offer no instructions for configuring the controller. The kit is made up of 5 or so parts that each have instructions, but they do not provide instructions for how these specific items should be configured in the controller settings which I show on the video. My frustration in getting this working is the reason for the 4 stars. Hopefully my video will save others the frustration I went through.

There are no detailed instructions for this set up! The diagram shows the connections but as for setting on the controller there are none. After dealing with tech support for over a week through emails I’m spoon fed I instruction at a time and this is completely in acceptable. I still don’t have the system running and have plenty of volts going into the controller. Would be great if it actually had detailed instructions and worked.

I reached out to the seller, and while they answered questions, their help could not overcome the inherent design flaws. As an electrical engineer, I determined it would take 12 solar panels and a larger battery to provide and store enough energy to run the current demanded by the pump. The ac/dc converter and controller have no controls to adjust the power to the pump. This system will never work fully as configured.Remember you will need to purchase additional components. While the pump is shown as submersible, the electrical connections need protection from rain. Electrical connectors, mounting for the solar panels, electrical tape, a pole to mount will require another $500 plus to get this system operating for the 30 minutes to an hour a day it can run.

This seller is responsive to issues raised. I purchased this system and had some difficulty with operation and reliability, they responded quickly and sent out a replacement battery at no additional charge. I would recommend and would buy from them again.
