Was excited to try them and install them into my old truck. Got them installed and nothing.Been installing them on other systems and nothing. Very disappointed

These sound really good. They sound every bit as good as the original infinity system that was in my car. But these will handle much more power and get much louder. They can be a challenge to install. They are much deeper than the original speakers that came out of my car. I compared them to some other aftermarket speakers I had and they were much larger than those as well. The magnets are also much larger in diameter than my factory speakers. I had to remove the rubber protector around the magnet to get them to fit. The wire connections are at a weird angle as well. They are hard to hook up to since they point straight at the magnet.

These speakers are a great replacement for my factory speakers that were on their last leg. These are louder and the sound is more crisp than the original ones (I just have the base model) which is immediately a plus. They fit in my doors great, the hardest part was taking the door panel off and tracking down a compatible wiring harness. So far they're holding up nicely, and you can't beat the price.

So first off I’d like to say that I like recoil products that they offer and mostly because they’re affordable.For example these promid 6x9, are half the price as other brands. They get loud and handle RMS wattage no problem. For me the sound quality matters and theses things play high. not the best or cleanest sounding. But for $50 it’s alright….maybe. For me no. I also noticed the same thing in the 6.5” version that I’ve been running for two years now. I did try different amps along the way I really got to experience the sound qualities.So just know what to expect,Pros. They cost $50! ,They get loud.It handles rated power.Beefy, looks good.Cons. Frequency response is higher than most mid driver’s. Not the cleanest sounding.No push terminals.

Best mids ive got for $40.Cant beat that price.Sound quality is superb

These are not my first foray into what Recoil has to offer on the cheap. Every time I am very impressed by what you get for such a small investment. Solid performing mid range/midbass drivers. I doubt I'd feed them the advertised power handling, but the 100w RMS they are seeing from a quality amp and HU provides enjoyable listening comparable to speakers 2-3x as much.

Sounds good

These speakers are a solid choice, nice sound quality and volume. Put them in my coupe - the midrange is good and they handle power well, I fed 100W RMS to each and they sound great. At 350W max (175W RMS) per speaker they can get quite loud - previously had a set of 85W RMS speakers and they were noticeably quieter at the same volume.

Hopefully a quick review of some nice, loud 6x9 2 way speakers. I have a few recoil products and so far all of them are good quality and perform well. These 6s9’s are a decent mid-range package. At the moment I installed them in custom made laser cut boxes for shelf speakers and I’m very happy with how they turned out and how they sound.The speakers have a decent cone, surround, spyder, magnet and connectors. Everything seems to be about mid quality. I can make them shake pretty good in the sealed boxes. These would be really well paired as a component system with dedicated tweeters (and a sub). They are loud so if that’s all you’re going for then they will be fine (with an amp).The installation is pretty standard. They are not very deep but not shallow either. When I designed the boxes I made them a little deeper on purpose for a little more bass response, but the measurements given for the products were accurate. They mounted perfectly. The rubber mount works well with no vibrations or air leaks. They work as expected. They are a little on the expensive side. 4 Stars!

These are fairly heavy, slightly bigger than the factory installed 6x9s, and definitely louder. I'm not sure that they're as clear as factory speakers though, so they're not for everyone. If you want your music to be extremely loud then sure, these will get you there. If most of the time you listen at a reasonable volume you might be better off sticking with your factory speakers. As a replacement for a broken speaker, they would do the job adequately.
