I had been dreading the usual techniques of grout repair since they were so messy and difficult to apply. The grout filler tube that was included in the package promised a simple and mess-free application. In light of the fact that I did not really like the prospect of my bathroom being out of action for a lengthy amount of time, the formula's ability to dry quickly was an additional advantage. The paint was able to slip into the grout lines with such ease that I was pleasantly pleased when I first started the application procedure. My ability to target even the tiniest of gaps was made possible by the precision tip, which enabled me to achieve complete coverage and a finish that seemed uniform and professional. It gave the impression that the grout had just been laid since the gray color I picked harmonized so well with the tiles that were already there. Immediately, the grout lines, which had previously been discolored and damaged, were revitalized, and they now seem clean and vivid. Without the bother and cost of a complete makeover, it felt as if I had walked into a brand-new bathroom.

I originally bought this product with the white color grout and it was very easy to use, it just didn't match my other grout lines so I opted for the silver. The white grout worked great, came out easily and harden nice. The silver one however, was not easy to use. When I cut open the tip, water gushed out and then the silver grout came out already harden, making it impossible to lay down and use. Pretty upsetting because the color actually matched my grout lines, but both tubes were compromised.

I have an old bathroom from the 1960s that has not been remodeled and this really freshens up the grout for my old white tiles. Ordered another set to finish the job.

I tried using scissors to cut the smallest part for my thin tiles but that was too huge. As shown in the picture it is not easy to cut so I poked a hole with the needle but still flow is huge. Made it a bit messy. Also the gadget shown in the video to smooth the grout isn’t in the packet and no mention of what that is.

Over time, the area behind the faucet has darkened, probably mildew from wetness. I can't say that my work is as good as a professional, and I did order a different grout repair tools set to use instead of what came with this kit. It covered the dark area and now there is an uniform line. I wonder if I can use the rest to cover the blue hair die that stained the grout in my shower? I'll let you know!

I ordered this grout repair kit to fix up the tiles on my fireplace that broke due to a previous tenant.The kit was easy to use and includes everything that you will need to fix your grout. There was even a small utility knife to cut/pry out old grout. The only thing that did not work well for me was the plastic "grout smoother". I appreciate the thought of including it but it doesn't work as intended as the grout sticks to it (even when wet) and drags the grout out instead of smoothing it. I found it much easier to dip my fingertip in some water and smooth it that way.The grout was easy to apply using the squeeze tube. The kit includes 2 tubes of grout. For patching and repairing, this is more than enough to meet my needs. I used it to repair the grout around 2 tiles plus fill in some cracks on a broken tile. I barely used 1/3 of a tube. I have plenty left for future repairs.One thing that I did notice is that after the recommended 24 hour dry time, the grout did shrink a bit. I'm new to the world of home repairs so I'm not sure if this is normal for grout. However, I was easily able to apply another coat of grout and after another 24 hours, it looks good.Finally, I will also say that even though the product is not designed for it, I was able to successfully use this to fill in the cracks of two broken tiles where the last tenant dropped something heavy. Then I was able to sand down any rough edges with an emery board (did I mention that I'm new to DIY?). After repainting, my tiles should look almost as good as new.
