I love the colours, illustrations of the characters, and font chosen. Plus, Jamie Oliver is my fav chef. The storyline is solid and between it and the descriptions of food, I was compelled to read this book. It's magic!

My 8 year old boy and I are loving reading this book at bedtime. My boy is quite fussy on the books he enjoys and this is one of the first, longer chapter books we have started to read.We are excited by the adventures and love how it reminds me of my childhood and the simple ways we found play and enjoyment in the summer in the 80’s. A wonderful book that is really well written and ignites imagination.

My daughter is a regular graphic novel reader. This book has been a great bridge with some illustrations but in a chapter book style. She is enjoying the story. She also really enjoyed learning the process Jamie Oliver went through to write a book as a person with dyslexia. BIG win.
