I got this to reheat leftovers at home instead of nuking them in the microwave, thinking that a gentle heating method for a longer period would prevent cold spots. Found that this heater is very good at serving this purpose, however the food is hotter at the bottom (where the heat source is) where it reaches a temperature of 70C while the top of the food reaches 60C, which is sufficient for me. Only taking a star off because I'd prefer my food to be piping hot (80-90C).

I was a bit skeptical that this would get hot enough, but I warmed baked beans with a little water in them for 20mins and was really surprised with the results.The beans were really hot and hadn't dried out.In hindsight I should have stirred them a couple of times part way through heating because they did get a little bit stuck, but not welded to the pan.Overall a great piece of kit but would maybe benefit from having a non stock pan

For things such as pasta etc. The last time It was producing NO heat after 1hour and is currently on its way back to Amazon. I have received a refund. VERY disappointed after my initial excitement,=====================================As a professional driver I spend 40-60 hours on the road every week. This involves 8-12 hour days and many road side meals. Generally I have to take sandwiches because buying meals everyday can be costly after a while.I opted for this product in the hope that I could have a decent hot, or at least a warm meal of some sort while on the road.I've had a very similar, almost identical lunch box in the past and it was worse than useless. So after purchasing this at a discount I wasn't expecting much.HOWEVER. To my total suprise. It works amazingly.On first use I had some left over pasta from my previous evening meal. I plugged in the lunch box and set my phone stop watch running, opened the steam port and left it running.3/4 minutes went by and I didn't feel any heat from the base of the lunch box, I begin to think "Here we go again another useless piece of junk" 6 minutes in I touch the box and there's definitely heat. So I left it until my stop watch read 20 minutes.Next I opened the box and tried a few pieces, around the top part of the box the pasta still needed more heating up (For my liking) but at the bottom it was piping hot. So I gave it a good stir and reset for another 20 minutes.After that my food was just as hot as if it had just come off the stove.I would imagine different foods will take different times to heat up, trial and error.Definitely invest in this lunch box if your sick of sandwich's and don't want to constantly buy lunches everyday.

I’m in the trade and always going from site to site with no guarantee of power. This has been mainly used in the van on the 12v power supply and it heats my meals up to a good temperature within 30mins. Just as an idea of portion size:250g morning - 10 mins heat time450g dinner - 20-30 mins heat time.Big and easy to clean stainless removable container and little knife and fork. Recommend !

The media could not be loaded. 25 minutes and BAM! Hot pasta in my truck! I work in the forest and hated eating lunches because I enjoy a hot lunch instead. With this, I plug it into my truck, leave the truck off and walk away for 20-30 minutes and come back to a steaming hot lunch. It does cook quicker but I like it very hot. I made a wrap in it and it crisped the bottom of the wrap too!! Worth every cent!!!

My boyfriend came home raving about this electric lunchbox after one use! His meal was hot at lunch time and the small size of the container is perfect for traveling to and from his work site. Would definitely recommend for the price!

Vraiment pratique pour le travail, il y a une prise mur et une prise voitute, elle est plutôt grande et fait son petit effet auprès des collègues. Je suis une bonne mangeuse j'en met pas mal. Chauffe rapide, facile à nettoyer, couverts intégrés. Génial
