Not just for emergencies!
Nice bright light. We use it all the time when you need light but don't want to hold on to it. Just sit it on a table, ground etc.

Good Product
nice product but the finger grab of the crank handle is a bit smallish=at 5 min cranking fingers needed a ret =so plugged into wall charge for the 3hrs and it's verry bright as advertised... keep a charge in it to make battery life last long as possible... heard other different product reveiws complain about products left a year without being charged having to be trashed since the batteries became junk after sitting with no charge...go figure = Well This Unit Has A good reveiw for keeping a charge = Put it to the test yourself and see......bought one for me and will see....

Excellent product
I got this for a camping trip, and it was well worth the buy. It's bright, very lightweight, and all three modes of charge work as described. My only issue is when I'm using it to charge my cell phone; it charges for a little while, then suddenly stops charging; the phone isn't even at or close to a full battery charge. Unplugging and plugging will fix the issue for about 2 seconds, but will stop charging again. I don't know if it's my specific product, but this is my experience with it. Other than that, it works as described.

Compact , powerful.
Wanted a solar charge lantern. It is pretty compact in size, but emits plenty of light. Love how it turns on automatically when I pull the top out to extend lantern, no need to search for on button. Turns off by itself when collapsed too. Not sure how long battery lasts as purchased for future emergency use. It is a power bank as well for cell phone. Would recommend for any place or use.

My favorite lantern
I keep buying more of these and give them out to family. They are bright and I like that they have a solar panel and a wind up crank and can be used as a flash light with the bottom button.

Great Lantern!
This is so lightweight and gives off a great amount of light. Bought for us and one for the kids in case power ever goes out and need to have a source of light. Love the easy crank feature and solar powered if power is out more than a few days.

Compact Emergency Lantern
First Impressions of Leaton Camping Lights Hand Crank Solar Camping Lantern, Portable Ultra Bright LED Torch 5000MAH Rechargeable Led Flashlight Tent Lights, USB-C Charger Electronic Lantern for Emergency Hurricaneâââââ 5-starsâ Multiple Power Sourcesâ Lantern is brightâ Compact and Lightweightâ Attractive Designâ Versatile usageâ Feels well-made, solid, and sturdyâ Competitive pricingâ Hand Crank is nearly worthlessâ Flashlight is not so brightâ Needs a battery meterThe reason this product maintained a 5-star rating with me is because of its versatility as a lantern, spotlight, and power bank with multiple power options (ok really just two options).I ran the battery flat by leaving the lantern and flashlight on. While I did not take note how long the light lasted before it stopped illuminating, I can tell you that the light stayed on for almost 24 hours. My friend and I spent 10 minutes cranking the hand crank. It generated zero usable energy. However, If I had the lantern or flashlight on while cranking, I could see that energy was produced because the lights would turn on. The hand crank spins at an awkward angle which makes it difficult to sustain over time.I left the unit in the sun for nearly the whole day. It was partly sunny. The TINY solar panel did produce enough energy to run the lantern for several hours more than I expected (my guess was about 3-4 useable hours)Again, I ran down the battery to flat (empty) and this time, I recharged the battery with an inline power meter to measure the amount of energy to recharge this unit to full. It took 25 Wh (watt hours) to recharge this unit â this is consistent with 5000-6000 mah battery. I am pleased that the capacity is accurately represented in the listing. 5k mah is enough to give a dead phone enough charge to make some emergency phone calls and GPS locations. One of the major shortcomings of this product is a lack of energy meter and battery status. While cranking the hand crank, I had zero feedback if I was spinning the crank at the proper speed. It would be helpful to have an energy meter to tell me how I was doing or how well the solar panel was doing. A battery meter is needed to display how much charge is left (or needed) in the battery, especially in a crisis or emergency situation. The lantern is made of a hard plastic that I feel fearful of it dropping on concrete or some other hard surface. I did accidentally drop this onto bamboo flooring and nothing happened. Otherwise, this feels like it is well constructed. I would like the solar panels to be recessed deeper to prevent damage in case of a fall. Thanks for reading and hope this helps.
