Just what I needed !!
I ended up buying this on line as I just could not find in stores , and if I did they were so pricey. Good value for money very sturdy and easy to use , makes light work of cracking walnuts . Good product

The nutcracker did its job, beat hazelnut, walnut, Brazil nut but was defeated by almond… the first almond I went to crack and snapped the nutcracker!!!

Not suitable for almonds
I quess it’s almonds what break this nutcracker. Maybe if you use for other nuts they can have longer life, than one week. (this is what happened for me). Anyway I can not recommended this item.

Nice set of nutcrackers that do the job, I do feel though that they are a little flimsy so not sure how long they will last but good enough for now at least.
