AFM/DFM Disabler Silverado 5.3 Active Fuel Management AFM Disable Device Compatible with V6 & V8 GM Motors

This plug in unit works better then I expected in my 2016 Silverado LT. Stays in V8 mode the entire time, which so far seems to make the engine run better and transmission shift smoother. Definitely improved take off acceleration.

Only used for a week but runs so much better in all V8 mode! Took to dealer with check engine light on and a couple codes after rough jerks in RPM’s from V4 to V8, they couldn’t figure anything wrong, but when I plugged in, everything worked better!!!

Does exactly what I needed it for. Keeps the truck in v8 which gives the power whenever I want. Definitely unleashed the beast that was hidden behind the afm

This disabler is amazing. I immediately felt a huge difference in acceleration. No more Eco mode vibration to deal with.

I own a 2015 Silverado LT 4 WD with a 3:08 rear end. I have just turned 66,000 miles on it. I was always sceptical about buying one of these things for my truck. But to my surprise this 5.3 is running on 8 cylinders all the time, much smoother shifting and has not affected my gas mileage at all. Installation was very easy. I do not understand the 4 blue lights that it has, but this thing works and the price is not bad.
