I have a relatively small head for an adult and the medium in this was too small for me. I was able to get it on but it didn't cover my ears all the way. The parts of my face that were covered stayed very warm and I like the breathing holes. This is a great balaclava if it fits your head.

I bought this for myself, but I plan to give it to my 8 year old.They weren’t kidding when the said it was supposed to be tight. Yes, it is very tight. I was able to get it over my head, but I felt pretty claustrophobic. Once it was on it was ok-ish.The cap kept slipping off my head. I guess my head is too big. I was wearing a ponytail so that probably contributed to it slipping up and off my head, but it was annoying enough for me to not even want to wear it.I absolutely LOVE the fleece-lined material and the breathing holes that they added into the mask.

The one thing I liked best is it was advertised as being windproof. I can attest to this when I went for a ride. It does a good job of keeping my face, neck, ears, and head warm but without being too think so it doesn't fit under my helmet.This is a nice piece of outerwear that is very warm.

I got this for my husband to wear under his helmet while riding his motorcycle. Word from him is that it fits, is comfortable, and keeps him warm. He's a man of few words, I'm sorry, LOL.
