Have used a Clairol brand of powered root touch up for years, but it's hard to apply with the tiny brush it comes with and runs out too quickly. This is a great find. The color match is very good for dark brown to black hair. It has a sponge applicator the size of about a nickel in diameter and it's easy to load the sponge with powered and cover those grays coming in between coloring. It's long lasting and works well between shampoos, where it easily washes out.

I have deep red (dyed) hair that is thinning on the top and sides. I am also very fair skinned so when I pull my hair up in a ponytail, my scalp is visible which makes the thinning seem worse, at least to me! I decided to try this product after seeing it on Insta and it really works! It's easy to apply, relatively mess-free and matched my color perfectly! A little goes a long way and this is definitely part of my daily hair routine now!

Light Brown vs Dark Blond - I have light brown hair but have always used (other brands) dark blond root spray and color my graying hair with dark blonde (7N), so I ordered the dark blond color first. It was definitely more yellow-toned than expected and too light, didn’t cover my grays. I contacted the Boldify customer service, and they refunded my purchase! Will give the dark blond to my sister to try.I then ordered the light brown and it matches perfectly and covered well and easily. Hoping it lasts longer than the root spray I’ve been using, which runs out pretty fast. Picture shows dark blond and light brown colors.

BOLDIFY Hairline Powder is a total lifesaver between coloring sessions. It provides great coverage for my roots and blends seamlessly into my dark brown hair. It’s especially helpful for touching up gray areas or filling in spots where my hair feels a bit thin.The powder goes on easily, stays in place, and doesn’t smudge or transfer—which I love. Plus, it lasts all day (and then some) without needing constant touch-ups. If you need a quick fix between salon visits, this is definitely worth it!

This hair powder works great but I get so angry every time I buy it because the packaging is so deceptive. It comes in a box that is about 4 inches tall but when you open the box, the powder container is 1 1/2 inches tall and less than 2 inches across. THEN when you open it, 3/4" of the container is an empty tube where the applicator is stored! You literally get 1/4" of powder. The applicator is hard to hold, I have dropped it numerous times wasting valuable powder. The applicator also eventually falls apart but the powder doesn't last long enough in the container for it to be too much of an issue. Also, because the applicator is the same shape as the powder container, the middle of the powder is used up first leaving a ring of powder around the edges which then means you have to use the smaller brush to get the powder out of the container. The actual powder deserves 5 stars but the packaging is ridiculous! Needless to say, I am in search of a product that both works great and is cost effective.

I love this so much. It is hard to find a match to my red hair and this matches. I use it to cover my stubborn grays around my face, if you color your grays you know exactly what I’m talking about. I love how much coverage this offers, how natural it looks, and the all in one packaging is amazing. The fact that this can just be throw in my purse and is so travel friendly, makes it a worthy investment. All you need is this, there isn’t anything else you need to cover the grays, there’s no extra hacking or tools required to make it look good. Just get it.

Perfect coverage. Don’t be afraid to make best guess at your color match because if you’re wrong - they will make it 100% right, for free. I am so impressed. I ordered the dark blonde but it was too light. The color swatch included with the product showed all the colors - allowing me to match to my hair using a mirror. I determined I needed medium brown instead. They sent it to me - easy as that. Color matched perfectly - I couldn’t be more pleased. I have used sprays in the past but this coverage and color match far exceeds anything I’ve used. Very happy customer. Excellent customer service and excellent product. Be sure and go darker than what you think if you’re covering grey and have highlights. Match to your under color.

I love this stuff. I use it to cover/blend my roots in between hair color appointments. It doesnt totally cover my roots, but this product helps them blend well so they aren't noticeable. Easy to use, and lasts all day for me. The color matches well, too!
