Incredible artbook full of a lot of quality photos. If you bought the Scythe book from him, you'll see a lot of familiar pieces, but this has way more for a better price. He even has a tutorial section in the back with progress pics.What I love most about this artist is his ability to capture a mood in his imagery. This is not your run of the mill concept art book with 'nice paintings,' but these pieces really tell a story. He's got a way of capturing an atmosphere with his colors and compositions that do more than serve as a pretty little painting.This would make a great gift for aspiring artists in any visual medium, sequential arts, film, gaming, preproduction animation, etc, or for folks who love a less gaudy steampunk aesthetic. The mechanical creations in his work are well thought out, really fit the country they represent, and FEEL like mechs that would exist in the WWI - WWII era.The quality of the book itself is very professional. You really get your money's worth. The size is big enough to see the great details in his work, and fits on my ikea shelf just nicely.

A truly engrossing and captivating collection of artwork rooted in fantasy world created by Mr Rozalski. The origin story is loosely rooted in 1920's Poland overrun by a fantastic bestiary sampling widely ranging world mythologies. Stylistically the artwork is reminiscent of the period paintings by George Harding and Hans Larwin. Personally I find this work both menacing and fascinating. But even if you don't care about art much, think about that - this collection is going to make a truly original coffee table book, that your neighbors Joneses are unlikely to have.

Beautiful, imaginative, thought provoking, and inspiring. Some of the pieces are almost Dark Souls-eque with the giant enemies. It’s an awesome juxtaposition of countryside/folk with awesome machinery, samurai and other awesome pieces. I was gifted this for my birthday when my boyfriend knew I loved this artist and I couldn’t be happier.

Amazing artwork! Background gave me a glimpse into an unknown part of Polish history. Juxtaposition of historical and futuristic is phenomenal, and oh my goodness, there are werewolves and mythical elements too!

Fantastic book, high quality artwork. Absolutely fascinating art style that I don't think I've seen anywhere else. The originality of the art style makes this book worth owning.

Love the book! Solid purchase. However, when it arrived in the mail it was stuck inside an envelope, and so when it arrived all of the corners of the book were damaged. Not cool! I only take one star away because of the shipping, not because of the book itself. I only wish the book could be laid flat to view the images, as some of the images gets cut off by the spine.Otherwise the book is a feast for the eyes. Highly recommended.

Love this book. Have been a fan for quite some time now. Just got around to ordering this book and I wish I would have done it sooner. The art is amazing.

I'm not a regular reviewer of products but this book is so good I felt compelled. The world Jakub creates is like a mix of Steam Punk & a world of harrowing fairetales that seems to perfectly straddle past & future. It is full of stunningly imaginative paintings most of which are printed full page in a really high quality book. This is a must for anyone who likes this type of art. A dcefinte 10 out of 10.

Very pleasant read, the book is well structured between Jakub Rozalski's universes, with a nice balance between the different universes and interesting explanations. Tutorial parts and bonus are really a big plus.

So worth the extra nickels. Gorgeous hardcover book and I cannot wait to frame the prints that came with it. Jakub's work is so inspirational for fans of steam punk and fantasy elements. A must have for anyone in love with those sub genres!
