Social Thinking Thinksheets for Tweens and Teens Learning to Read in Between the Social Lines

I have attended two Social Thinking conferences with Michelle Garcia Winner and just love the philosophy behind her work. I also own several other products, including Thinking About You, Thinking about Me, Think Social, the entire Superflex series, the Incredible Flexible Me series, and a few others. As my students have gotten older, I needed a product that would grow with them and the nuances that come with puberty. This product has met those requirements! It is easy to use, and relevant to the challenges faced by many of the middle and high school aged students I serve. Love it!

Select copies are permitted for classroom use. Includes a CD... but assuming you don't have a computer that can read those you'll need access to a photo copier.

I was almost afraid to order this product because there were no other reviews or "look inside" option, but I had been looking for some materials for my middle school social communication class. I have heard good things about Michelle Garcia Winner's books, so decided to take a chance. The book arrived today and I am pleased to see a lot of lessons that I plan to be using right away! It seems perfect for the material I'd like to cover and the age group I teach (6-8 grade). I'm glad I ordered this book!

I order Amazon for a public school district. This must be okay to recommend b/c I didn't hear any complaints (and believe me I would have.)

This book and CD is amazing. It has great ideas to help students gain social communication skills. I also found it easy to adapt for different learners, depending on the ages and readiness levels of students that I work with in a school setting. I would recommend this book for school social workers, pediatric speech-language pathologists, school counselors, and school psychologists.

I really need an additional book to fully utilize the worksheets according to the Thinking about you, Thinking about me curriculum.

Michelle Garcia Winner has done it again. Her worksheets are clear and easy to adapt for any population. The classroom teacher would like me to use this with all her 8th grade students, not just the students on my caseload.
